This reminds of another psalms based song I know of which is also one of my favourites. In general; There is always something more powerful with songs which uses God's Word as their lyrics or inspired by God's Word.

That was a great song, thanks for sharing it.

Romans 5 I like to call the "much more chapter".
First much more.
8 But God commends His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Having been justified by His blood, much more we will be saved from His wrath.

God loved you while you were a sinner, His enemy, how much more do you think God loves you now that you are His child?

Second much more
10 For if when we were His enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more we will be saved by His life.

Quoting from Hebrews 7:25. He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for them.

Third much more
15 The offense is not like the gift, for if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ has abounded to many.

The offense of Adam had power to give everybody a sin nature so everybody would din and die.
But God's grace is greater.

Fourth much more
17 That as in has reigned to death through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

God doesn't want you to just get along, He wants you to reign in life.

Fifth much more
20 But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.
21 That as sin has reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our LORD.

Many people think that when sin abounds, so does judgment. But that is not God's way. When sin abounds grace super abounds.
And it abounds for a purpose. So we can reign.
Not so we can continue to sin, but so we can reign over it.

Very nice read, Doug! Looking at God's Word is always a delight and so upbuilding! :)

Not so we can continue to sin, but so we can reign over it.

This is also one part many can misunderstand, you have these who thinks that the more they sin the more grace will be given them.

We will continue sinning whilst living on earth, yet once we become saved and children of God, we will not be happy about the sins done in our lives. We will become more aware of this part, as well as becoming more repentant, desiring to live a more righteous life, staying away from sin.

Also; We will be reminded of how helpless we are without having a Saviour, we become more concious and grateful about what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. Thankful for His grace, which we didn't even deserve, yet knowing God loved us so much that He wanted for us to having a chance for being reconciled with Him again through Jesus Christ's Sacrifice poured out for all of us.

That's How Awesome Our God Is!
