I think you might be aware of a vital life/ death problem with so-called carbon dating.

As Yahweh always says, remember, do not trust mankind/ society/ man's wisdom or man's knowledge (which Yahweh calls foolishness BECAUSE it leads AWAY FROM TRUTH/ AWAY FROM JESUS) .....

Bull! Part of my training as a scientist was to be skeptical, very skeptical --- question everything, look at the evidence.

Yep, I know you were allowed to question everything inside the box. But you weren't allowed to question the box itself. You must accept what they feed you, you can't say no or you will be excommunicated from the Scientific Cult.

I know the Smithsonian are hiding many skeletons of giants and fossils which expose their theory as false. There are many people who have had their discoveries taken from them by the Smithsonian and never to be returned or displayed. It simply disappeared into thin air.

The time has come when these false scientists will be exposed and shown to be fundamentally flawed and guilty of using circular reasoning to stay afloat.

Christian scientists have proven that mainstream science is false, so they will take over and lead the world with true science.

were kicked out / shunned / just for asking for and seeking the truth !
And some for publishing it, exposing even one lie or whatever about the 'secret' "knowledge" they must keep secret lest anyone find out the emperor has no clothes !!! (i.e. there is no basis for their deductions or conclusions, and the starting premises are false... that they are seeking is not starting from faith nor truth, nor seeking to grow in faith nor truth)

I'm not going to argue with you about the stupidity of your remark. It's stupidity stands for itself before God and unless you repent before Him you may have to answer for your errant words, spoken out of ignorance. But, it is a pretty obnoxious statement to make, unless you are sure you know what you are talking about. But, it begs the question, if you can't recognize another member of the Ekklesia, are you really part of the Ekklesia?

Do you even know what I was referring to? The whole focus of the OP was questioning Hovind and why other YEC's didn't hold his view, if I understood the question correctly. I wasn't referring to whether his belief in creation or evolution was correct. I know he is correct. Hovind is actually one of my favorites in the area of scientific debates and his views on creation and evolution. His quick whit and knowledge are admirable. I don't know of any that can handle a debate the way he can.

However, I was referring to his position of how things happened--like the original conditions before the flood and how the flood came about--something Hovind himself would tell you that he isn't in agreement on with other YEC scientists. In fact, he even shares at least one other person's theory. We don't know which position is correct. You don't know either. But, as Hovind himself points out, YEC's need to focus on the YEC (and no evolution), not on whether it was a mist in the atmosphere or layer of ice or whatever. That was what led to the comment you choice to pull out of context.

When or if Yahweh reveals the Truth to you (are you even seeking the Truth from Him? His Promise is that He will reveal it to anyone who seeks the Truth and keeps on seeking)
what will you say then ? Will you repent of your false opinions, false judgments, and false ideas ? Will you be surprised if Yahweh shows you the Truth, that other people then call you a drunk, demon possessed, and obnoxious ? (as they treated Jesus, even calling Him Beelzebub; so they will do to you if you follow Jesus) ....

The truth is simple. Not complicated. It is revealed to infants, and hidden from the 'proud' and the 'educated' ones , as Jesus Says Clearly in His Word Scripture.

Those things we have both seen and heard, this is what we testify of (not of nor from the world's sight/ hearing; but revealed by Yahweh through the Wisdom and Experiential Knowledge of Jesus, in union with Him as He says in His Word ) ......

Scripturally and in Christ Jesus, you don't seem to understand right or wrong - you have not shown anything I posted to be wrong except perhaps compared to your own opinions contrary to Scripture.
You can spend 100 years wasting your time trying to show anything I posted is contrary to Scripture, for example, yet never realize your own ideas are not in ilne with Scripture.... (the bane of the false gospel on earth) ....

p.s. you should not 'hide' behind Scripture you claim to love, since you disagree with it - it does not suit you .... Yahweh will grant anyone understanding of Scripture, if they humble themselves and renounce the false sinful ideas of mankind (yes, even 'science'/idolatry) , trusting only the Father by faith in Jesus to learn the Truth from Him....

I bet you haven't heard had the courage to deal with the scientific proof for a young earth. Kent Hovind is a true man of God, he doesn't sit on the fence. He believes Gods Word as it was spoken, to many so called "Christians" twist the scripture to make them conform to secular Pagan theology and beliefs.

The Bible stands in stark contrast with the mainstream scientific view that everything came form noting. one needs to empty themselves of any vestige of common sense to embrace such an absurd hypothesis.

The scientific method of cause and effect testifies against the theory of evolution, science itself demands that there be a cause to cause an effect. But the evolutionists ignore their own method in order to embrace this most absurd idea.

Kent Hovind, leaves the so called professors and experts speechless when he presents Biblical truth. The Bible is right, that every liar and false witness will be silenced when the truth is revealed.

That's perfectly OK, we all evolve as Christians and change our views on certain topics which have no baring on our standing before God.

I went from being a devout roman Catholic, to a Pentecostal, to a Seventh Day Adventist and now I'm a Reformed baptist. So we are allowed to change our views on certain subjects, and remain faithful.

I have watched Hovind debate. When he gets cornered he breaks out into a sermon on the evils of evolution and how atheism is leading to moral decline. Yeah, Kent, but the debate is about the SCIENCE of evolution.

I've watched Kent's videos and have found them quite interesting. From a Christian belief I'm more of a YE believer but could something like the gap theory maybe be correct? Maybe but have a hard time to reconcile that when God was speaking about 24 hours segments then that's what he meant. The morning and the evening clearly speaks I think of a 24 hours time frame for a day. Is Kent Hovind absolutely right on everything? Perhaps not but I think he's got the right perspective.

And about his going to prison....I don't know maybe just or unjust I just don't know all the details and I certainly don't allow secularists to spoon feed me as to what is the truth of the matter. But Kent's heart is right on! He loves to get people saved! I don't think anyone can take that away from him and he works hard at it to! I've heard while in prison he got various prisoners saved and led Bible study groups. He didn't allow himself to have a cloud over his head nor get in despair.

He spent much time studying and reading the scriptures and learning about subjects and themes of the end times....and what he felt God was showing him. I had what he now teaches about themes like the rapture as what I believed years ago and so I'm on the same page with him there. But whether totally right about all things or not if Christians are reading this give him some credit. He loves getting people saved and I think that's a question each one of us needs to ask ourselves. Do we? And how hard do we work to do it.

Did you misread my comment? Look at the comment sections of his Debunking the Flat Earth videos; they are full of YEC who are decrying him for attacking the Flat Earth.
