I am a female in my 20s, born and raised in Israel. Now live in the United States and speak English with a noticeable accent (but I have a decent English otherwise), my family does not believe in God and we are in a pretty bad relationship :(.

I am a virgin (waiting for marriage) and never been in a relationship before. I have been asked out by secular men before but never by Christians, I think they are not interested in me because of my background. They are also pretty rare here where I live, so in two years I plan to apply for grad school either a religious one or in Texas .

Would you date an Israeli woman with a little complicated background? Thanks.

Do you accept Yeshua? If so, the answer would be a definite yes from me. :)

Date, sure and as far as marry it would of course depend on the person. Also marrying someone without citizenship might be hard honestly. It's not so much where she's from, it's just that process of applying for citizenship is probably stressful.

Thank for the detailed reply. I am a US permanent resident so its not a problem :).

I don't see what the problem would be. Guys are guys. They like women! Ha. Women are more choosy. But hopefully everyone finds their match eventually. Can you speak Hebrew?

Yes I speak fluent Hebrew and another language (my parents are European)

Cool. Honestly I think it makes things more interesting to date someone from a different background, someone who knows another language. At the same time, similarities is good as well. Do you know your MBTI type? There's a whole theory of compatibility between the types. It's interesting because dating / marrying someone with complimentary yet similar traits seems to be the way to go. Different, but not too different.

Personally I prefer japanese women but there is nothing wrong with being from Israel just not my body type . I don't think background have to do anything with you not being dating yet maybe you are just too shy . Post on some Christian dating site with disclaimer that you are virgin and sex after marriage only and you will find some real relationship .

Welcome to CF.

For me, it doesn't matter where she's from, but she must be a conservative Christian.

It would seem that having prejudice against someone on the basis of their nationality would not only be incredibly silly, but rather offensive. A person's nationality and ethnicity shouldn't matter.

Your background sounds normal. Don't be too hard on yourselves, my family is Hindu while I'm a Christian. If you love the Lord Jesus, you won't have any trouble finding a good Christian man. We all have Jewish heritage in Christ. God bless:).

Could be a honeytrap guys, lol

I am not sure what honeytrap is...and why you guys hate on me so much. I have a pretty low self-esteem after not being able to find a meaningful relationship and wanted to ask this question to get some opinions on what might be the reason for this. Thank you everyone who answered truthfully :)

Anyway, we should look at people as potential friends and potential brothers and sisters in Christ... not automatically as potential relationship partners.
So, welcome, sister and friend!

100% agree with you. It just gets scary with all the biological clock stuff lol...

I don't hate you. I suppose while it's generally easier for a young woman to find a date, finding a meaningful relationship is about as hard for both sexes. Believe me, I think there's tons of guys that would love to find a nice, young christian woman who doesn't have prior relationship baggage. It's just so rare nowdays, we're skeptical there're even out there.
