Yes, me too. It was kind of frustrating finding the threads I had posted in so I could reply as keyman.
But I liked the keyman avatar so much I kept it.
I had chosen the name "keyman" because that is what I do. I make keys. I specialize in old tractor keys and fire alarm keys at beachslock.com.It's a great avatar. I love "keys". They're all through the Bible, and there's a HUGE one in the book of Job.

And I figured with a name like keyman I should have an avatar that represented it. I almost used one of the key pics on my computer but then I thought I should have something about Jesus in the avatar so I googled "Jesus key" and found this one.
Thank you, I hadn't really thought of that. There's much spiritual significance in it BIG TIME.
Jesus also was/is a "Key Man".
How awesome is THAT?!!!
In 1 Samuel 30 David had returned from a battle and was completely worn out along with most of his men.Im a little sad today. Ive lost everything in life that makes it worth living. I still have hope in the Lord though, and that is no small thing. I can imagine how hard life would be without that hope. Praise the Lord.
Thanks for the encouragement Doug. I really needed it.In 1 Samuel 30 David had returned from a battle and was completely worn out along with most of his men.
Then he found out invaders had taken everything from him and his men.
David's men wanted to kill him. David was seriously depressed.
But then according to verse 6 he encouraged himself in the LORD, then he encouraged his men and went and took back what had been taken away.
In John 14 Jesus was giving His last message to the Apostle's and He knew what was about to happen to Him.
He also knew how badly His men would be affected.
The first thing He told them in that chapter was
Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me.
Then the last thing He told them in this speech was in 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
God is with you giving you peace. No need to be sad.
Grieve only if you lost an unsaved loved one.
