The Greek word #5330 Pharisee comes from the
Hebrew word #6567 parash, which means to wound, to scatter;
and the word translated as scattered is scorpion;
#4649 scorpion means mark, or pierce.
M,23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead [men's] bones, and of all uncleanness.
M,26:31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of Me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
R,9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power [was] to hurt men five months.
Haven't we been living in the last days since Jesus went Home?
