DNA Database idea

I am thinking a worldwide(with countries that work with us at least) DNA database.
We can limit immigration to only countries that participate in the DNA database.
It could help with missing Children in the future, if for example when a child grows up and joins the military or goes to the hospital.
It could help with organ donations and blood.
Identify genetic problems early after birth(before birth opens the abortion can of worms, objections).
It may cut down on crime -- a person knows if they leave any DNA behind.
The DNA markers could replace most forms of personal id making id theft a thing of the past.
It could be taken at Birth, Anything to do with Government, Starting School, Getting a Driving License, Doctor's Visit, Hospitalization of any kind.
It may cause lower medical costs by catching problems early.
A larger database may improve medical research in critical areas.
Knowledge of one's DNA may improve one's health.
And, I am sure insurance companies would love having the data.
I think the privacy standards can be kept in place.
I guess one's SSN & Birth date & Personal Passwords, could be the link to the data for a person.

The privacy laws, rules would still be in effect. They would get summary information, not individual.

Laws can be changed, and questions can be asked. I have little faith in privacy laws.

when you see the benefits of a DNA database like curving crime and advancing medical research. DNA being corrected in the womb.
I don't see a problem with it.

I don’t like that idea. It could be used for many evil things and would be harmful for the freedom of people.
