This was a work that only the high priest could perform on behalf of ALL of God's people for all the sins confessed within the Sanctuary throughout the year
And Jesus made only one sacrifice for sins for ALL of God's people, for all sin, and He did it in the first century. That is precisely where we see this corporate work.

final cleansing of the Heavenly Sanctuary as outlined in Daniel 7 and Daniel 8.

The cleansing work of the priest in the sanctuary was a cleansing application of blood. Daniel 7 and 8 do not address that.

Hebrews 23-25 addresses it plainly. And it was in the first century.

Then Jesus ministers this individually as people come to Him. What happened in the first century involved appearance in God's presence and corporate provision for sins.

I do not disagree that the way opened into the heavenly Sanctuary by Jesus as our great high priest because not only is he our high priest but he is also our sacrifice. This is clearly outlined in the book of Hebrews. I think what is not being discussed however is the purpose of the daily sacrifices for sin (daily confession and cleansing of the individual from sin and the day of atonement; which is the cleansing of the Sanctuary from all the sins of God's people collectively) as partly discussed in Daniel, Leviticus, Hebrews.

It is discussed in Leviticus. It is also seen in Hebrews:

23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us
25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Holy Places every year with blood of another

- appearing in God's presence for us
- better sacrifice
- compared to the yearly entry with blood of the high priest.

That is exactly what the priest did in the sanctuary on the Day of Atonement.

It is not discussed in Daniel 7. The Day of Atonement did not spell out a judgment on the little horn. It spelled out a corporate cleansing provision for sin.

HEBREWS 8 and HEBREWS 9 explain nicely why the way into the most holy place is opened up. Although it is not saying here that because Jesus sits at the right hand of God that this was in reference to the cleansing of the Sanctuary and the day of Atonement which the earthly was pointing to.

It does as I noted above. However, even the inauguration involved both compartments of the sanctuary.

But the larger point is He did all of it. He completed the sacrifices for every feast, every offering, etc. There was only one, and He did it once in the first century. And He presented Himself in God's presence after entering the holy places, which He did once for all.

He entered once for all, bringing redemption:

11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Holy Places once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

- He sacrificed once for all
- He entered once for all
- He obtained eternal redemption
- He is the High Priest

If you are saying the cleansing of the Heavenly Sanctuary from sin as typified as the Day of Atonement has been fufilled then this has no basis in scripture as outlined above.

Hope this is helpful.

Now I know you don't like scholars---except when you do. But notice that even Adventist scholars have been compelled to admit that there are Day of Atonement references in Hebrews:

Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary on Hebrews 10:1:
Compare ch. 9:25, 26, where the work of Christ is again contrasted with that of the earthly high priest on the Day of Atonement.

M.L. Andreasen in The Book of Hebrews:
On Hebrews 4:16
Verse 16. "The throne of grace." This expression in Christian terminology has always been closely connected with prayer, and hence with the mercy seat. It was at the mercy seat the high priest supplicated
God for forgiveness on the Day of Atonement. We are invited to come there to find grace to help in time of need. (64)

On Hebrews 9:25-26

Verses 25, 26. The priests entered the first apartment daily, the high priest once every year when he went into the most holy with the blood of the bullock and the goat. (127)

William Johnsson in his essay "Day of Atonement Allusions," which can be found in the DARCOM volume on Hebrews, lists 9:25 as clearly alluding to the Day of Atonement.

The context clearly points to a Day of Atonement allusion (high priest . . . yearly . . . blood [cf. 9:7]) (113)

Alwyn Salom in his appendix article in the Daniel and Revelation committee series, speaking of verse 24, 25:

The reference in the context of the Day of Atonement service of the earthly high priest is not to the outer compartment of the sanctuary. (227)

Richard Davidson, notes that vs. 25 is an unmistakable reference to the Day of Atonement:

I agree with Young that Hebrews 9:7 and 9:25 refer to Day of Atonement, because of the clear references to “once a year” and “every year” respectively. ("Inauguration or Day of Atonement?" Andrews University Seminary Studies, Spring 2002, 79)

Felix Cortez states in his article "From the Holy to the Most Holy Place: The Period of Hebrews 9:6-10 and the Day of Atonement as a Metaphor of Transition" in the Journal of Biblical Literature, 125.3, Fall 2006, 527 (footnote):

Unchallenged references to the Day of Atonement in the central section include 9:7, 25

This is true but I think what you are missing here is that all those who profess to be God's people are in the BOOK of LIFE. This is why I provided the scriptures to define what book was used in the judgement described in Daniel 7:9-11 in post # 176. This is the book of life that all are written into that profess to be followers of God.

It does not say book of life in Daniel 7. What is pictured are books, and a judgment on the little horn power, the fourth beast, and the other three beasts are allowed to exist.

There are the books, and then the book of life:

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:

The books contain records of works. Nations are also judged based on their actions, as I demonstrated from Amos.

DANIEL 7:9-10 [9], I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. [10], A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Where is the book of life? It is not there. Where is the examination of the saints? It is not there. What is described? Judgment on the fourth beast and the little horn, and the three other beasts being allowed to live.

And you compare this to what the high priest did on the Day of Atonement, but the High Priest when he was in the most holy place did not go through books. He made a cleansing application of blood for the sins of the whole people.

God’s saints are determined at the Judgement and found in the opened book of life.

DANIEL 12:1 [1], And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Daniel 12 is not Daniel 7. They are found in the book of life at the time of the resurrection in Daniel 12. Daniel 7 does not even mention the book of life, or a judgment on saints, but it speaks of the judgment of the little horn.

REVELATION 3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Daniel 7 shows no blotting out of names.
Daniel 7 shows no book of life
Daniel 7 describes the saints as a group that is delivered from the little horn who is judged.

When does Jesus confess our names?

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
Luke 9:26.

It is at His coming. That is the same time as Daniel 12 references when the resurrection occurs. That is when we will bow the knee, appear before Him, confess, etc.

So it is at the judgement that each case is decided whether to remain in God's book of life or wheather they are blotted out of God's Book of life. This was a similar purpose to the earlthy day of Atonement which points to the heavenly

Daniel 7 describes no book of life, no individuals being scrutinized, no blotting out of names. It describes judgment on the fourth beast, the little horn, and the allowing of three beats to remain.

The work of the high priest in the sanctuary on the Day of Atonement was application of blood for corporate provision, not going through books.

You have read into all of these texts.

Now tall, why would I need to read the next verse the purpose of the scriptures posted on the books was ONLY to determine what books were opened on the day of Judgement in Daniel 7:9-11.

Daniel 7 doesn't say the book of life. And the books are separate from the book of life. So appealing to Daniel 12, or Revelation 20, which actually do reference such things, does not put them in Daniel 7.

Just because a verse does not mention "sins of the people" does not mean that the purpose of the sanctuary is not for the cleansing the sins of the people. To be more accurate however, the day of atonement is for the cleansing of all the sins of God's people from the Sanctuary.

It is a cleansing of the sanctuary and the sins of the people. It is a picture of corporate provision of sin.

30 For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. 31 It is a sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever. 32 And the priest, who is anointed and consecrated to minister as priest in his father’s place, shall make atonement, and put on the linen clothes, the holy garments; 33 then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tabernacle of meeting and for the altar, and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. 34 This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, once a year.” And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Just as this was provision of sins for the whole year, for the sanctuary, for the people of the whole assembly, so Jesus provided one sacrifice to cleans the heavenly sanctuary, and for all the believers, for all time. This only happened once--in the first century.

23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another

Well, the people following God's word in 1843 knew that Jesus said in a day you know not the Lord will come, and that no one knows the day or hour, and that about dates and times there was no need to write.

And they were correct. And William Miller, the false prophet, was demonstrably wrong.

But the Adventists condemned those who followed what God's word said.

But that was not enough. Ellen White said that God was in the false message of the false prophet. And Adventists have insisted ever since that those who followed the words of Jesus and rejected Miller's message were lost.

From this the IJ, and the Adventist church was born.

It was a correct message in relation to the calculation of the times but the interpretation of events from William Miller and others was not correct which they soon found out afterwards as God gave them the correct understanding through the restored knowledge of the Sanctuary. Which was the fulfillment of Daniel 8:13-14 and the restoration of God's truth.

That would mean Rome came from Greece at the time of Alexander's death, which clearly is not the case. Hence the DARCOM series had to go with the other interpretation because Uriah Smith's was untenable.

Sorry I do not accept that it is untenable from what you have posted above. I actually believe both are correct. As history shows in point 1 in post # 191.

Where does it say in the scritptures that the little horn had to come out of Greece at the time of Alexanders death? We are talking about the empire of Greece that was divided into four kingdoms at the death of Alexander given to his 4 generals.

The little horn was to come out of one of them not a part of them but separate to them. Rome fits this description nicely (Shown here).

Do you also hold to the daily being paganism, as does Uriah? Because that doesn't match your earlier posts.

My understanding here is that paganism here is in reference to Daniel 8:12 "And a host was given him to oppose the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it did this, and prospered."

Paganism is how the daily was opposed and cast down to the ground by the little horn. This is not saying the daily is paganism. Once again fulfilled by papal Rome.

Hope this helps

I think Rome matches up better, though there are still some questions.

Well for me personally, I do not think anyone has a perfect understanding to all aspects of prophecy. We need Jesus to be our guide and teacher. The most important thing is that we seek him through his Word for truth in relation to the scriptures. Our salvation is not based on how well we know the prophecies.

Now I know you don't like scholars---except when you do.

As shared with you earlier. I read and study God's WORD for myself. I do not like to use scholars/commentaries for my own bible study normally. If I think someone will benefit by my posting and using them and it can help a conversation then I provide them.

In my view they are not necessary to come to an understanding of God's WORD and are no substitute for prayerfully seeking God's truth through his WORD claiming God's promises to be your teacher which is part of the NEW COVENANT promise.

But notice that even Adventist scholars have been compelled to admit that there are Day of Atonement references in Hebrews

Why you would think there are no references to the day of atonement in the Book of Hebrews, I have no idea as this is something I have never said or believe.

Agreed. And in Jesus' actions in the first century we see a sacrifice, and presentation in God's presence, resulting in corporate purifying for all sin.

3b when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high

That is the provision for all sins, of all time. There won't be another provision.
Agreed
And it was once for all time that Jesus made the fulfillment of that:

23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another

It affirms the necessity of cleansing.

It describes in the past tense that Jesus entered the holy places
It indicates this is the true temple, heaven itself.
He appears in God's presence on our behalf.
it is directly contrasted with the yearly entry of the high priest with blood. Jesus didn't have to do it often, He did it once.

Sorry tall we disagree here.

Hebrews 1:3 should be read in light of Hebrews 8 and Hebrews 9. It is not a reference to the Great day of Atonement it is a reference to Christs perfect sacrifice on our behalf for sin and Christ ministry as our high priest. This is seen very clearly in Hebrews.

................

Why the Most Holy place is opened and why it was not opened in the earthly...

The New Priestly Service...

Hebrews 8; Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.
3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this One also have something to offer. 4 For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law; 5 who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” 6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

A New Covenant...

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. 8 Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

The Earthly Sanctuary

Hebrews 9 Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. 2 For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; 3 and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, 4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; 5 and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

Limitations of the Earthly Service...

6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. 7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance; 8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. 9 It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience—10 concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.

The Heavenly Sanctuary...

11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 1:3 has nothing to do with the Great day of atonement and the cleansing of the Sanctuary outlined in Leviticus or has it been fulfilled.

Hope this helps.

And Jesus made only one sacrifice for sins for ALL of God's people, for all sin, and He did it in the first century. That is precisely where we see this corporate work.

Agreed

As shown earlier through Hebrews 8, Hebrews 9 and Leviticus, however, the purpose of the Day of atonement, God's judgement and the cleansing of the Sanctuary from sin is different to the daily ministration of sin.

Not really tall, this has already been addressed through earlier scriptures. Just saying because the priests application of blood was not mentioned in the scriptures does not mean this is an argument to claim that the purpose of the Sanctuary is not the application of Blood sacrifice when it has already been outlined in other scriptures that the cleansing of the Sanctuary is all about blood sacrifice (Leviticus 16; 23:27-32). This is especially demonstrated in light of the restoration of the Sanctuary, the daily sacrifice and God's truth which is said to take place after the establishment of the little horn. This time line puts us well into the NEW COVENANT showing the application is to the Heavenly Sanctuary and not the earthly. All of this is demonstrated in Daniel 7 and Daniel 8, already shown through the scriptures in previous posts.

The rest of your post here in relation to Hebrews 1:3 is only repitition which as already been addressed in Hebrews 8 and Hebrews 9 showing why Jesus unlike the high priests in the earthly is allowed to sit at the right hand of God (see ealier post and scriptures provided).

Hope this helps.

The points were made showing the parallels in both Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 and their connection to the restoration of the daily sacrifice, Sanctuary and God's truth at the end of the 2300 day/year prophecy. It also shows the connection of the Sanctuary linked to judgement which is for the cleansing of sin. This time period being well after the establsihement of the little horn and the acts of the little horn. What you are suggesting above is correct if the application was to the earlthy samctuary however it is not the application here is well into the NEW COVENANT so the application has to be to the Heavenly Sanctuary not the earthly. Therefore represents the restoration of the Sanctuary truth, the understanding of Crhists ministration, the judgement and the cleansing of God's people from Sin (Anti-typical day of Atonement) taking place in heaven on our behalf.

Except Daniel 7 says none of that. It shows no judgment on individuals. And your reading in the false date setting of the Adventists is not at all pictured in Daniel.

Sorry tall, the scriptures in the posts already provided disagree with your application of the Sanctuary and it's restoration has been shown not to be correct. There has been no false date setting; where has false date setting been made? I am happy to re-post the scriptures that disagree with you here. So let's be clear before doing so..

So you do not agree that...

* There are parallels in both Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 and their connection to the restoration of the daily sacrifice, Sanctuary and God's truth at the end of the 2300 day/year prophecy?

* Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 in your view do not show a the restoration of the Sanctuary linked to judgement which is for the cleansing of sin?

* The book of life in not used in the judgement of Daniel 7-8?

* The book of life is not used in the judgement of God's people?

* Judgement has nothing to do with the day of Atonement and the cleansing of the Sanctuary?

Thanks for your clarification. Happy to go through each point again if you like and provide the scriptures.

The rest of your post here is only repitition of what has allready been discussed. So does not need to be covered again.

Already discussed Hebrews 1:3 in reference with Hebrews 8 and Hebrews 9. This is not a reference to the day of atonement. It is a reference that Christ has provided the sacrifice and he is our great high priest that ministers on our behalf in the heavenly Sanctuary.

Of course the sanctuary was for the cleansing of the people. But this is not talking about cleansing in the normal course of the sanctuary. This is cleansing from outside defilement by the little horn.

This is where I beleive you have the earthly mixed up the the heavenly as discussed earlier.

The main point here is that the time period when the restoration of the Sanctuary and the daily starts is well after the establsihement of the little horn and the acts of the little horn.

What you are suggesting above is correct if the application was to the earlthy sanctuary however it is not because the time period here and the application here is well into the NEW COVENANT so the application has to be to the Heavenly Sanctuary not the earthly.

Therefore the scriptures here represents the restoration of the Sanctuary truth, confession of sin and the understanding of Chists ministration, the judgement and the cleansing of God's people from Sin (Anti-typical day of Atonement) taking place in heaven on our behalf.

Daniel 7 says nothing about judging individuals. It delivers the saints from the little horn power.

This has already been discussed and why the scripture was provided as to what the books were that Daniel 7:10 discusses. As highlighted earlier through the scriptures Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 is talking about the the restoration of the truth in relation to the Sanctuary, Christs ministration and the daily sacrifice (Confession of sin) that was trampled underfoot by the little Horn. God's truth is restored to his people. Judgment is set and the BOOKS are opened. The books here are referred to the BOOK of LIFE that are examined (some translations; in the courtroom) to decide who stays in the book of life and who is blotted out. As shown earlier in the earthly this is the anti-typical day of atonement.

And yes, the activity done in the temple was for cleansing--a cleansing application of blood. That happened in the first century. Only in the first century did Jesus die, and go present Himself in God's presence, purging sins. Yes, and all who are His have since Jesus made the one sacrifice--in the first century.

No the purpose of the cleansing of sin in the daily is different to the cleansing of the Sanctuary of sin from the presence of God on the great day of Atonement. Hebrews 1:3 has already been discussed in light of Hebrews 8 and Hebrew 9 in post # 193, which explains why Christ can sit in the presence of God and the earthly priests could only do so once a year. This has nothing to do with the antitypical day of atonement outlined in Leviticus.

Hope this helps

It does not say book of life in Daniel 7. What is pictured are books, and a judgment on the little horn power, the fourth beast, and the other three beasts are allowed to exist. There are the books, and then the book of life: 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:

The books contain records of works. Nations are also judged based on their actions, as I demonstrated from Amos.

Ineed but it is very clear what books are being referred to in the judgement this is demonstrated in the scriptures already provided from Daniel and Revelation that the books being referred to in the judgement were the book of life. Those not written in the book of life and those blotted out receive the Judgements of God. Those who are were written in the book of life are the ones said to receive God's kingdom. This is demonstrated in both the books of Daniel and Revelations. We must look at the book of Daniel in light of the scripture, chapter, book and context to the whole bible not in isolation of the rest as we are to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

1. First Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God, and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” Here Peter regards this declaration as a prophetic statement applicable “to the last period of the church” (v5–7, 12–13). It reveals two great classes—the righteous and the sinners—that “will be judged before they are raised from the dead.” The investigative judgment of the house, or church, of God will take place before the first resurrection; so will the judgment of the wicked take place during the 1000 years of Rev. 20, and they will be raised at the close of that period.”

2. The text “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection” (Rev 20:6) refers to the righteous and is evidence that their cases will be “decided before Jesus comes to raise them from the dead.” As to the time of this judgment, it will take place “while Jesus offers his blood for the blotting out of sins.”

3. First Timothy 5:24, “Some men’s sins [the righteous] are open beforehand, going before to judgment, and some men [the wicked] they follow after,” means that “some men lay open, or confess their sins, and they go to judgment while Jesus’ blood can blot them out, and the sins be remembered no more; while sins unconfessed, and unrepented of, will follow, and will stand against the sinner in that great day of judgment of 1000 years.”

4. Further evidence of a preadvent judgment is seen in 1 Peter 4:5. From this text, it appears that the saints are judged while some are living and others are dead.

5. The Day of Atonement is a type of the judgment of God’s people. The 2300 days “reached to the cleansing of the sanctuary, or to the great day of atonement in which the sins of all who shall have part in the first resurrection will be blotted out.” the evidence is clear that since 1844 “the judgment of those who died subjects of the grace of God has been going on, while Jesus has been offering his blood for the blotting out of their sins.”

Much attention is given to the matter of the blotting out of sins in the judgment in the combined books of Daniel and Revelation. In regard to the time, Daniel 8:14 shows that this judgement does not take place when sinners are forgiven. Rather, it occurs during “the time of the cleansing of the sanctuary,” at “the great day of atonement 2300 years after the establishement and acts of the little horn.

Jesus offers his blood for the blotting out of sins. The “time for blotting out of sins is placed forward just prior to the second appearing of Jesus” according to Daniel Acts 3:19–21 and “is evidently the last great work in the ministry of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary.”

The significance of the blotting out process is brought out by the fact that there is a record in heaven of the actions of every “accountable” person (Rev 20:12; Dan 7:10; Mal 3:16). The book of life contains “the names of all who become the special subjects of divine favor” (Dan 12:1; Rev 3:5; Phil 4:3). The other divine books contain a record of sins and the deeds we have done both good aned bad (Revelations 20:11-12; 15; * Note only provided to show "other books" considered in the judgement) and also “the pardon of sins repented of, and forgiven with those works shown as evidence of their faith. This results in the maintaining of the saints names in the book of life or blotting out of the saints names in the judgement (Exodus 32:33; Deut 9:14; Rev 3:5)

Where is the book of life? It is not there.

This has already been addressed showing the scriptures in relation to God's "books" used in the judgement one being the book of life and the other being the book of deeds done
The judgement results in keeping the saints in the book of life of blotting them out of the book of life based on their deeds (Dan 12:1; Rev 3:5; 8; 17:8; 20:12-13; 15; Mal 3:16 *Note scriptures only provided to show different books used in God's judgment).

Saying there is no book of life and book of deeds used in the judgement because the books are not descibed within the scripture of Daniel 7:10 which states that a judgment is taking place after the estaclishment of the little horn when scripture decribes what the books are that are used in the judgement in other scriptures is not an argument to say that these are not the books used in the judgment referred to in relation to the restoration and cleansing of the Sanctuary applied in Daniel 7:10 and the restoration of God's truth outlined in Daniel 8:14.

Where is the examination of the saints? It is not there.

In the books that were opened (Daniel 7:10) prior to the giving of the kingdom to the Saints v 27

And you compare this to what the high priest did on the Day of Atonement, but the High Priest when he was in the most holy place did not go through books. He made a cleansing application of blood for the sins of the whole people.

Not at all. The searching of the books for judgement is God's Work not ours or the work of the high priest.

The day of atonement (earthly) was the only time during the year when the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies in the innermost chamber of the Temple (or Tabernacle) to make atonement for the sins of all Israel. Atonement literally means "covering." The purpose of the sacrifice was to bring reconciliation between man and God (or "at-onement" with God) by covering the sins of the people and the removal of the sins of God's people held within the Sanctuary from the presence of God for the cleansing of the Sanctuary (scapegoats).

The days leading up to and on the day of Atonement for cleansing of sin (earthly) was a time of repentance to God's people (Lev 23:24-30). At this time God's people were to express remorse for their sins committed throughout the year through prayer and fasting.

The day of atonement was a type of final day of judgment to God's people, for the removal of and cleansing of the Sanctuary from all the sins of God's people committed throughout the year.

God's Word shows that the judgment is determined by what is written in God's books which include the Book of Life and the the book of remembrance (book of deeds and actions). Rev 3:5; 8; 17:8; 20:12-13; 15; Mal 3:16. Not any man made books written in the earthly of which was only a pattern of that which is in heaven. Only God can examine the books of the judgement because only God is holy.

Daniel 12 is not Daniel 7. They are found in the book of life at the time of the resurrection in Daniel 12. Daniel 7 does not even mention the book of life, or a judgment on saints, but it speaks of the judgment of the little horn.

As shown stated earlier posts the reference from Daniel 21:1 and many from Revelations and elsewhere was only provided when examining what the scriptures say are God's books used in the judgement as outlined in Daniel 7:10 nothing further. I believe God's word disagrees with you here. Although I do also believe the little horn received God's punishment after the judgment is completed.

Daniel 7 shows no blotting out of names.
Daniel 7 shows no book of life
Daniel 7 describes the saints as a group that is delivered from the little horn who is judged.

Already discussed this is like saying a scripture is not talking about the ten commandments when the words ten commandments are not used but some of the ten commandments are being referenced throughout the scripture. It is a false argument.

As shown in the earlier posts the scriptures of Daniel * show that..

DANIEL 7 AND DANIEL 8 * There are parallels in both Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 and their connection to the restoration of the daily sacrifice, Sanctuary and God's truth at the end of the 2300 day/year prophecy?

DANIEL 7 AND DANIEL 8 * Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 show the restoration of the Sanctuary and the daily sacrifice linked to judgement (Dan 7:10) which is for the cleansing and restoration of the Sanctuary (Dan 8:14)

DANIEL 7 * Says the judgement is determined by what is written in the books that were opened (Daniel 7:10). Other scripture show what books are used in the judgment which include the book of life and the book of rememrance (deeds) Rev 3:5; 8; 17:8; 20:12-13; 15; Mal 3:16.

DANIEL 7 * It is the books that are used in the judgment that finalise who God's people are that are given the Kingdom of God at the completion of the judgement.

DANIEL 8 Judgement has everything to do with the day of Atonement and the cleansing of the Sanctuary

Sorry tall, your interpretation here disagrees with God's WORD. Prior to the 2nd coming and the completion of God's judgment we read...

REVELATION 22:11-14
[11], He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
[12], And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
[13], I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
[14], Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

MATTHEW 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

2 TIMOTHY 2: 7-8, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but to all them also that love his appearing.

God's saints will be judged prior to the 2nd coming at which time all those found written in the book of life will be rewarded.

Hope this helps.

No, it was not correct in time or message. Miller's message was 1843. That was not correct, even by Adventist calculations today.

Miller's message was that Jesus would come around 1843. That message was abjectly false, and he was a false prophet, rightly corrected in his day for his time-setting message.

I disagree and have shown why. You are choose to believe as you wish ;).

Actually Millers calcuations was somewhere from March 1843 to March 1844.

I was not talking about the coming of Jesus but the calculation in relation to the 2300 days and the restoring of God's truth and the Sanctuary. Please do not say you do not know what I was referring to here.

Please read all my post. I am not saying at all what you are posting here.

Please note, it doesn't matter what you say. He preached a false message in God's name and is therefore a false prophet.

He preached that Jesus was coming in 1843. Jesus did not come in 1843.

Neither the calculation of the time or the event was correct in Miller's reckoning.

1843--wrong year
Jesus coming--wrong event.

Taken together, false message, and a false prophet.
