After that, perhaps there will be a compromise between Trump and Congress on keeping the government running, likely including a DACA compromise.

I believe that Trump's influence will diminish as soon as the tax bill is signed. He'll still have lots of influence. And yes, he could get re-elected, if the Democrats don't work out how to get together behind a winning candidate and campaign strategy.

• Seriously stayed in the primary race, rather than using it as a publicity stunt.
• Stayed in the primary race until votes were actually taken.
• Won even a single state in the primary.
• Managed to remain in the primary race until only the serious candidates remained.
• Won the primary race.
• Actually received the Republican nomination (rather than having it taken away from him due to procedural trickery).
  
• Managed to stay competitive in the presidential race for any length of time.
• Managed to become president.
• Managed to actually be inaugurated.
• Managed to stay president for any significant length of time before being impeached.

And yet we're still meant to take seriously predictions that he will be removed from office before 2020.

That's because the topic is the repeated insistences by his opponents that he's just about to lose all his political power. These were around from literally his first day in the political arena and have continued until this day, despite nothing ever coming of them. The list was not a list of his accomplishments, as a basic recognition of the context of the statement would have made obvious.

It was argued on TV tonight that it has already diminished. The GOP is going to refuse to confirm those two unqualified judges.
