Feeling blessed! Got a message out of the blue last night from a guy asking if I needed some work. I gave him a high quote, thinking he would come back with a lower number, but he immediately accepted the quote, says he knows I do awesome work, paid me, and he says he has more coming for me! AND, if it performs well, he'll triple what he paid me! God is SO good!

Also on my mind........ why does my deodorant need "92 hour odor protection" I'll settle for a solid 24 just incase..... I mean unless Im stranded on an island or suddenly become homeless........ Did some more drawing today, and finally got the lineart done. I realized that despite the sketch being pretty quick, I spent about 6 hours on the lineart alone.
No wonder it takes me so long to draw, I always try so hard to make the lineart look just right.

... oh, wait, you could do better. How about all of that, plus being an alien from another planet called Zeist as your truest origins. (I know, I should be shot for bringing that up.)

A pity the first film was really the only good one out of every Highlander film I have seen (I know of five, but there're likely more colossal failures lying around in bargain DVD bins at Wal-Mart somewhere =P ).

I tried to be an adult today at work, and it just backfired on me. :/

I don't think Dr. pepper wants me to use my brain or past experience to make my own informed decisions.

But, you know, I can't help but admit, as awful and confusing a film as Highlander:Endgame was? I still enjoy Bruce Payne's scenery-chewing performance at certain parts in that movie, in an ironic way.

I don't know if it is genuinely brilliant acting .... or just so over-the-top and self-indulgent that it can't help but be liked despite being obviously, objectively terrible.

Yup. To me, only the first movie exists. Conner McLoud defeats the Kurgan, claims The Prize, and lives the rest of his life as a mortal like he always wanted.

End of story.

After watching that clip, I cannot help but wonder the same thing. It's absolutely hamtastic brilliance on his part.

They're working on a reboot to the Highlander films right now. I heard they cast Dave Bautista to play the Kurgan. I hope they do justice for this already unnecessary franchise off of a cult classic film that didn't even do well in box office the first time.
