CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

@PeachieKeen I recall you telling us that you got struck by lightning twice. Have you ever thought of playing the lottery? I heard that you're more likely to get struck by lightning than to win the lottery twice. You just might have a chance at easy cash!

Eh... It seems my propensity to have unusual things happen is of the unlucky nature. It doesn't help my case that literally every time I've played the lottery I've used the cursed Lost numbers.

Omm: thanks to everyone on here who has been a friend to me. I've been here a couple times before and had bad experiences and struggled with my usual feelings of being worthless and hated. I'm so appreciative that I don't feel that way anymore. Thank y'all for your kindness, friendship, and sharing in life with me... Even if I get crotchety and emotional easily.

I'm glad you feel welcomed here. Drama and conflict are a natural part of life and it shouldn't discourage you. All we can do is learn from our mistakes, forgive each other the best we can, and try to enjoy places like CF. If we had to run away from every conflict, there will eventually be nowhere else to go.
PeachieKeen, you're a great addition to this forum. I really enjoy your cosplays, I really enjoy your company, and I really enjoy you as a person overall. Don't sell yourself short because you're a valued member of our community in spite of your own flaws and past mishaps.
