Others will recognize me as a disciple of Jesus when I show actively show them the incredible love of Jesus Christ in tangible ways through my actions (instead of mere words).

Buy food for those who go hungry.

Buy food for the homeless and actively try to find safe shelter for them

Go to the same orphanage regularly and build relationships with the children

Yes! Deeds of sacrifice validate words of love. And the need to love in deed does not diminish the importance of loving with our words.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. —Colossians 3:17​

And others should be able to see and experience the fruit of the Holy Spirit in a disciple's walk.
