  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just FYI, folks, the first king of Israel was Cisgendered.

Acts 13:21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

You know you can help people's souls by allowing them into the military. The key to helping people is not excluding, but also fighting with them and getting them to understand.

Well now you've got a point!

Bring them in and put them up in the front lines.

As the saying goes: There are no transgenders in foxholes.

(Or is it "atheists"?)

Many, many times, the faithful were killed,
when a whole city was wiped out to kill the wicked (presummably),
although NOT by YHWH, but by men - YHWH permitted it.

LIkewise many many many other times , in many countries, >>>

Where Is Outcry Over Children Killed by U.S.-Led Forces?
Where Is the Outcry Over Children Killed by U.S.-Led Forces?
Unfortunately, many people react to the killing of children with a shrug or a cheer.
Give us an example of God killing the faithful in order to punish the wicked.

The thing is his boorish nature effects what he does as a leader. If you hold Bill Clinton to being immoral, then do the same for Trump. You shouldn't ignore his personal failings, just because he panders to us.

I am perfectly willing to confine any criticism of Bill Clinton to what he did with his presidency and leave Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky out of it.

While Obama did have his dogmatic moments, I don't think the response to this policy is to reinstate the ban.

This is the third time I am directly asking you, and I will not ask you again. If you don't answer, I will simply assume that you cannot answer...

Why not?

I'm not asking for vague claims that it is "detrimental" or "idiotic" or "doesn't work", those are answers that merely repeat the question. Specifically, what negative consequences do you forsee?

In defense of Viagra: Sometimes erectile dysfunction occurs as a result of PTSD. This can be very upsetting and disruptive to the lives of veterans as they try to recover from trauma and move on with their lives, have families, and share intimacy with their wives.

That's my contribution lol.

Pot, this is Kettle, you're black.

What is this Elementary School? What's next, "I'm rubber, you're glue"? SMH. And if you are attempting to chastise me for cherry picking too, you just omitted about 99% of my post that you quoted.

A lot of times people have been defending Trump, and saying that it's not as bad. Or even worse they saying that his boorish behavior has nothing to do with his integrity.

I am saying reversal of this policy would cut off recruits.

No.
That is directly contrary to all YHWH'S WORD. (concerning the abominably perverted and defiled who refuse to repent)

If I want to honest that could describe a lot of Trump's behavior that people sadly excuse too much, and say it's not as comparable as supporting homosexuality or transgenderism. I think it's time not to make excuses for either of them, just because you are for the person.

Go ahead,
be honest.
Try again - the post doesn't make sense as it is.

The honest thing is that the military accepting transpeople is not the same thing as accepting someone's choices. We have to think about that. People accept Trump, and don't think for a second God won't judge us for associating with a man who has such a track record of behavior.

It's astonishing how many right winged Christians make excuses for Trump's vile behavior and sexual escapades or worse, they defend him and his behavior. I thought they wanted a godly leader to lead this country. Well, if that's what they were after, they definitely failed by electing Trump as president.

Aye,
and
Samson.

And thousands of cities, throughout the European countries, during the inquisition. (YHWH permitted it - as many faithful were slaughtered, along with many of the wicked)
God permitted it is quite different from God did it.

This is why I wanted Marco Rubio for the nomation, but of course Trump had to hijack everything. He's so egoistical that he drives me crazy. I still think those who are supposedly being his spiritual guides should call him out for his arrogance and actually try to save his soul instead of getting some political brownie points from him.
