Hi all, I was looking for quite some time for a nice Christian forum and I think I found it - i.e. you.
I'm a Dutch Christian in the "Protestant Church in the Netherlands", and I enjoy discussing the Bible with fellow Christians from all over the world.
So forgive my occasional Duenglish...

The name (Hector) Servadac comes from one of Jules Verne's novels.

Hi and welcome to CF. Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?

I have received the Holy Spirit at my conversion. I was reborn through the Spirit as the Lord Jesus explains in John 3, "baptized by one Spirit into one body", as Paul states in 1 Cor. 12:13, and God has sealed me, and given the earnest (first installment) of the Spirit in my heart (cf. 2 Cor. 1:22).
But you say "since", so I take that to mean that you believe that there is a first conversion and justification and then a "second blessing" of the Spirit afterwards, which I (and my Church) do not accept to be true.
