You do realize that Jews (Pharisees) followed a false religion during the time of Jesus, right?
Why are you trusting sources that come from them if they rejected their Messiah?
Basically what I am trying to say is stick to God's Word (in which is a source you can really trust).

...
Well you are going to have to explain that theology because Jesus Christ Himself said to follow the Pharisee's teaching.

Matthew 23:3

3 So practice and observe everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.3So practice and observe everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.

So now you are teaching against Jesus Christ's own words? Wow

That is amazing.

Let me say it again (using different words).

#1. Jesus taught God's Word.
#2. The Pharisees did not keep God's Word and thus contradicted the teachings of Jesus or the teachings of God's Word.

Do you see where I am coming from now?

If you are saying, "smh" = "shakes my head"; The Bible says,

"I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads."
(Psalms 109:25).

The Bible records all kinds of sins in the family.
We see a similar story of Ham sleeping with Noah's wife (involving drunkeness) in the story of Lot and his two daughters. Noah gets drunk and he does not wake up so as to stop Ham from sleeping with his wife. Lot gets drunk by his own two daughters and they sleep with him and he does not also perceive what is truly happening. The descendants from both of these incestous unions are destroyed later by God.

It is not my story. It's the Bible!

You are having a real problem in understanding in what I said.

Not at all.

I said the Pharisees believed in a false religion.

Got ya the first time; crystal clear!

Jesus criticized them for not obeying the Word of God which is even evident in the verse you quote to me.
I bolded the portion of words in red with that verse for you to see it.

Uh huh. And? Jesus did not criticize their religion. Jesus criticized them, calling them hypocrites.

The Pharisees did not believe in a false religion.
The Pharisees believed in the word of God.
They simply did not;
1) believe Jesus was the Word of God in the flesh ; their Messiah.
2) also did not "do" as they preached.

Thus Jesus said they were hypocrites.
And Jesus said their insides were full of dead mans bones.

Nothing in scripture says they believed in a false religion.

The Pharisees and Sadducees both were criticized by Jesus, for particular things, neither of which was for "not" believing in the Heavenly God Almighty, because they both did believe in God.

And to note; Joseph of Arimathaea; was a Sadducee, AND a follower of Jesus, AND it was Joseph's unused burial cave, prepared for a Priest (Joseph), in which Joseph begged for Jesus' dead body hanging on the cross, and took Jesus' body to his (Joseph) burial cave to bury him (Jesus).

God Bless,

That's not what you said Jason. You said that the Pharisees taught a false religion, which is and was the religion of Jesus Christ.

That is not true teaching and I am sure that many Messianic Jews and Jewish people in general as well as myself find you calling teaching that Jesus Christ told people to follow, false is offensive.

I just would like you to give me Bible verses that show that what the Pharisee's taught and the religion of God's chosen people, the ones Jesus came for is false.

This is simply not true.
The pharisees had traditions that undid the Word of God;
On top of the fact that they disobeyed God's Word.

Mat 15:1 "Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
Mat 15:2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
Mat 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Mat 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
Mat 15:5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
Mat 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Mat 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
(Matthew 15:1-9).

I do not see how my explaining it to you again is going to help you if you did not catch it the first time.
Simply re-read through this entire thread very carefully; And ask God to keep your eyes open.

Let's clarify something here:

#1. There were true saints who obeyed the Old Testament ways properly (Abraham, etc.).
#2. The Pharisees did not follow the OT ways & obeyed men's traditions that undid God's Word.
#3. Jesus taught the Word of God in truth (which upset the Pharisees and broke their traditions).

I am NOT saying Jesus's teachings are false!
The Pharisee religion and Jesus's religion are NOT the same.
They are similar but they are not the same.
I am saying that the Pharisees believed in man made traditions that undid the Word of God.
That is WHY their religion was false.
I am NOT saying Jesus's religion is false.
I am also NOT saying the Old Covenant ways were false.
I am NOT talking about ALL Jews through out the Old Covenant.
I am talking about the Pharisees.
They did not follow God.
They had man made traditions that undid God's Word!
Yes, there are certain faithful Jews in the Old Covenant.
Even the 11 out of the 12 disciples were faithful to Jesus.
Abraham, David, Isaiah all were true followers of the OT and pointed us to Jesus.

How did the teachers of the Old Covenant, the Pharisee's have a false religion? That is calling God's religion false.

If the teachers are under a false religion, then the entire religion is false.

Nowhere does Scripture state that the Pharisees followed God's ways entirely.
Yes, they followed some things in God's Word, but they ALSO added their own man made traditions that undid the true teaching of God, too.

Please read carefully VERY slowly the following colored words below in the following passage.

Mat 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Mat 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

So Matthew 15:6 and Matthew 15:9 are saying that the Pharisees worshiped God in vain because they made the commandments of God of no effect by their tradition and they taught man made traditions.

Man made traditions is another religion that is not endorsed by God.
That is what it is saying here.
Oh, and nowhere will you find a verse or passage saying that the Pharisees (as a whole) ever had their heart right with God at any point. It says they followed man made traditions! That is why the Pharisees religion was false and Jesus's religion was the true way.

Most people have man made traditions and do not fully follow all God's ways. But what you said is that the relgion is false.

I'm not sure why you are even bringing up these other issues that have little to do with your calling God's religion false.

What you need to do is back up your words that God's religion is false and a cult.
