We all know that President Donald Trump likes to get prime position in any photo opportunity. On his first visit to Europe in May, he appeared to shove the prime minister of Montenegro aside in order to get to the front of the pack of world leaders, providing yet another viral sensation for the internet.

Actually the protocol for these pictures has been around for a while: the people front and center are the people who've been in office for the longest time. It's not like this isn't something someone who supposedly surrounds himself "with the very best people" wouldn't know because they would have told him how it works.

I keep saying it and saying it, nothing this man do will ever be good enough for you.

When does something right I'll be sure and make a thread about that as well. But so far? He's obviously a man in a job he doesn't understand and seems unwilling to listen to anyone who could help him avoid situations like this.

he took the "backseat" because that's where he's supposed to be in that particular photo, but he tried to take a "front seat" because he simply has no idea what he's doing. And apparently neither do his handlers.

Not really. I was under the impression this fora was made so people could post about political things, I'm posting about political things I find interesting or funny. Seems like a good match to me. Would you go to a fora about say, stamp collecting, and ask people "Don't you think you could be doing something more productive then talking about stamp collecting?"?

I disagree. When that person is a politician involved in a political meeting with other politicians from around the world I'm not really sure how much more political something has to be to be considered, you know, political.

...I tend to think any time a politician does something, you know. political, it's politics. Isn't it part of the Presidents job to be under scrutiny for the things he does or doesn't do?

"The Donald" frittered away America's leadership role in the world during his last trip to Europe and he has done precious little since then to earn it back!

America may eventually realize that she needs those same nations that Trump and his supporters so cavalierly dismissed in the past to create a common front against North Korea, Iran and Islamic extremism!
