Hi, Channah
I am Bill, pleased to meet you
God bless you
I do not claim to be a dream interpreter, but I notice things that can have a Gospel meaning and which I can use to give scripture lessons. And there are other things I might notice, about how people can do things and how we need to be wise to worldly things and ways. So, I will offer my impressions, not meaning to guarantee what they mean in your real life.If you have a personal problem, the Man to call on is Jesus, who is able to take care of any impossible thing > 2 Corinthians 12:7-15
And if He takes a hold of us, we can be healed of any problem. Most of all is how He heals us in our minds and hearts so we are with Him in His love and joy and peace. We are not healed only by having certain obvious problems go away. We need how God changes us into the likeness of Jesus as our new inner Person > Galatians 2:20, Galatians 4:19.
This can mean the people are legalistic and trying to exalt the pastor above all the others. But God's qualified leaders are our
"examples to the flock." (in 1 Peter 5:3) An example is a sample of how we all can be blessed; and an example, then, desires for us all to become equally blessed with that person, in how God conforms us to the image of Jesus. So, it is possible, in my opinion, that the pastor would love to share his chair with you, if he loves you as his family in Jesus.
So, it could be legalistic people who would curse you for so sharing with your pastor. You can read and feed on how Paul and Sylvanus and Timothy related with the Thessalonians > 1 Thessalonians 2:7 and 1 Thessalonians 2:11.
In a more legalistic church, the people might be depending on non-Christian resources when they should be depending on God and how He uses His people. And one who is trustworthy could be not a church member but a Christian neighbor. But most of all it is important to bring everything to God >
"casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
