Most of us eat meat daily, but how many of us actually see the process from when the animal is selected to when it ends up on the table cooked and ready for us to eat?

I saw a cow halal slaughtered for the first time, it was quite difficult to watch actually and I didn't feel so good afterwards - I think it was the sight of all that blood gushing out.

Yeah, it isn't easy to watch something like that for sure. This is in part why I am now on a Vegan diet, though also for other health reasons.

When I was in Colorado, I went up to this town with a coworker for training that had a big slaughterhouse. She just kind of casually mentioned it at the beginning at the beginning to the day. Anyway, I kind of forgot about it until later when I saw a trailer full of cows go down the street. My thought process was "Oh cool, cows, I wonder where they're...oh..."
