These 2 posters were found last week in a couple of buildings on the Univ of Maryland campus in College Park MD.

Students and faculty alike were in shock and fearful.

White nationalist posters found on University of Maryland buildings

Aside from group noted at the bottom of the posters being a known alt-right white nationalist group, do you find anything overtly (or covertly) racist or threatening in these posters?

I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand I understand how political correctness has marginalized European Americans (white) as being the cause of all the troubles of the world, which is a lie. But on the other hand it makes me concerned in that it has a Nazi air to it. When we consider the history of the Nazis we see similar parallels. The Germans were a devastated nation in dire economic ruin after WWI. They also became aware that the Khazarian Jewish bankers, who are not descendants of Judah but from Japheth, were behind WWI and had manipulated the circumstances that brought all the treaty bound nations into the local conflict of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The possibility of that happening in America is not far fetched.

But what troubles me more is national patriotism of Christians who place patriotism equal or above God. As Christians we are strangers and pilgrims passing through this life whose country is not on this Earth. We are called to be ambassadors of Christ with a ministry of reconciliation. Jesus said that we can not serve two masters. We can not serve God and country. We only serve God as he directs us in this country.

As a black pastor (Tony Evans) once said, The time has come for blacks to stop seeing themselves as blacks who are Christians, but rather to see themselves as Christians who are black. That thought needs to be expanded, We need to see our selves not as Americans who are Christians, but Christians who are Americans. We need to see our selves as Christians regardless of ethnicity or national affiliation.

Finally, since we know that Black Lives Matters is funded by George Soros, who is known to create division in the nations for his personal and global agendas, I will not be surprised to learn that the American Vanguard is also funded by an elite billionaire intent on creating division to further the globalist agenda, too. Too many people, black and white, are unwitting dupes of elitists with much money manipulating the culture to further their own agendas. Just as Germany was manipulated. Let us see past the manipulations and follow the Truth.

Dylan roof and Richard spencer aren't a bunch of old fogie confederates. these are young guys with the old KKK sentiment which is what the "alt-right" is more or less. you're also seeing a lot of this stuff on college campuses. these are young people!

the point being that these racist sentiments of yester-year haven't gone anywhere. they've been forced underground until an opportune time to resurface. it seems that they feel their time is now.

I would say yes. The posters are racist in nature. But shocked and fearful? Good grief. Those poor little snowflakes have no intestinal fortitude whatsoever. These college kids need to be taught that life is tough and is not a utopia. There are hateful and bigoted people out in the real world and they should be teaching them how to deal with that hate and bigotry instead of trying to shield them from it.

I wouldn't say they take up the resulting reduction, or make up for it.
How else are they going to vent off steam when official laws suddenly restrict a previous racist way of doing things except to use subtler but equally effective ways?

There is nothing particularly racist or threatening about the posters themselves. Though no doubt there are many who will read there own racism into them.

Until people are willing to give up their race politics and just view people as people, regardless of race or nationality, there will be no end of "the stupid".

From where I stand, it seems that there are quite a few folks that view racism as their only reason to exist.

Because culturally as a whole the sentiment is decreasing.
I agree that the sentiment has NUMERICALLY decreased. But not uniformly. One group has benefited from the decrease while another is now being targeted by both the formerly discriminated and the former discriminators. So it is more of a target shift and a shift in identity of racists involved. Also the INTENSIY of the remaining racists can more than make up for any numerical decrease amongst Anglo Americans. The social situation isn't as simple as you are portraying it.

Which group has benefited from the decrease?

Which is the group that is being targeted by the formerly discriminated and the former discriminators?

Latinos are now the primary target of both Anglo and African Americans.

So, before we write these posters off as being just fine, what solutions are they implying? If white people's existence is being threatened, as these posters suggest, then by joining up with the group who created such posters, what will be accomplished?

From the website of the Southern Poverty Law Center about the New Black Panther Party, quotes from their leadership:

And does the SPLC designate the New Black Panther Party as good guys or bad guys?

Which African Americans are you talking about, and by what means do you make such a general statement about us? I'm not targeting any Latinos. Heck, my daughter is engaged to one.

The implication is one of racial isolationism by primarily preventing or significantly reducing racial mixing between Anglo American women and African American men. Such mixing produces offspring who invariable identify as black and they see this as a threat since Anglo Americans are not particularly very prolific in the USA and are threatened with becoming a minority in their own land very soon if the trend continues unabated.

I can agree that WS groups are pretty scarey.

But had they NOT put their logo on the bottom of the posters, would you find it equally upsetting?

OR - if it had pictured black people and had the logo of the New Black Panther party?

Obviously, the meaning of a seemingly bland statement can change completely depending on who is making it. Separating the speaker from the statement is a silly exercise.

.

Except that in the current climate, biracial children do not invariably identify as black. When they do, it's because of personal experiences that prove to them they will only be treated as black by the majority.

I am talking about a significant percentage not all of course. The animosity between Cuban Americans and AAs in Florida and Mexican Americans and AAs in the Southwest is a well-known documented fact. Actually, the animosity also exists in the East coast in such cities as New York. Why you posture as if shocked when hearing of it is really beyond me.

In the USA, the one-drop rule forces them to identify as black unless they can pass off as white of course. But the effect on the Anglo American community in reduction of its ability to replace its numbers is the same.

Whites projected to become a US minority

There are some strange and paradoxical things going on in this generation about that.

In the past--in my own generation--it was true that "any black is all black." In fact, a white person who married black or bore a mixed child effectively lost his or her own "white card." Mixed children born before the 80s had to be raised to think of themselves as black in a society that would think of them only as black (Halle Berry speaks of this).

The "One Drop Rule" isn't effective within the Millennial Generation. White parents of mixed children do not lose their white cards anymore. Those "biracial" children (a term that did not even have a social meaning until the 1990s) are not being raised as "black," and identify as black today only to the extent that this old Boomer society forced them to. That will effectively die with the Boomer Generation.

The present trend is to raise mixed African American/Anglo American kids as black. Do you have any statistical data that supports the allegation that such a trend is changing towards accepting them as Anglo American whites?? Also, Biracial isn't white. So the effect on the Anglo American community of a reduction of its numbers is still the same and the threat is still perceived equally as severe.
