Personally, I think that all Americans should give him a chance like they gave President Obama. My point is that even though some did not give our current President any chances, I believe it is unwise for our nation to not give any leader a chance, Republican or Democrat. My point is that even though some did not give our current President any chances, I believe it is unwise for our nation to not give any leader a chance, Republican or Democrat. I agree about NOT cooperating with terrorists. I don't trust Putin one iota. However, we disagree or agree, my point is, we all should respect the position that he has as leader of not only of the US, but the leader of the Free World. This should be the case even if one doesn't like or voted for Trump or even President Obama. I just believe that though a lot of people have forgotten that, we as Americans should not forget that again. Like I said, I am not the biggest Trump fan, but we are stuck with him come January. I certainly don't mean to come across as him being a good guy, but I am concerned that he has softened his position on a couple of issues. Sadly I wish he were more honest. My hope is that he has a good team of advisers and such to guide him and to give him advice, that he needs to listen to, when it comes to how he, an inexperienced politician, will lead the country.

These are just my opinions based on a disagreement that I had with someone on Facebook about Donald Trump. I just feel that we are on the opposite side of the fence when it comes to Mr. Trump. He clearly is more an Obama fan. He even referred to Mr. Trump saying that "Trump is the terrorist". His views when it comes to this issue is that of a switch-and-bait. I went to high school with him, and we are both intelligent, but we are opposite sides of the aisle so to speak. I just realized that we are not going to agree on everything. He may be and obviously more liberal or centrist than I am. Anyway, which points do you agree or disagree with, his or mine? I would appreciate your point of view.

You did a 180.

360 degrees in a circle. You would have still had the same beliefs.

Maybe. So I guess I need to stop agreeing with statements on Mr. Trump's character. (I have no longer watch CNN and I avoid MSNBC.) I honesty have no idea about his real personality, I admit. However, the real point is I think that the other person's points are too out there...Trump, a terrorist? Not even I never thought he was that, or a racist bigot.

I stand by my assertion that Trump is at his core a used car salesmen. He's going to tell you what you want to hear then do what he wants to do anyway.

I said I would give him a chance, but so far he has done except support my previous opinions of him by nominating unqualified and/or extremists to cabinet positions, and from finding out that Pence is only worse than Trump is. So, I'm pretty much at the point of saying "not my president."

Republicans in Congress never gave Obama a chance. They did everything in their power to see him fail as a President.

Republicans and conservatives attacked him on his birth certificate for 6 years.

I think you should give trump a chance and leave the rest of us alone for us to decide for ourselves.

I agree to the point where he is my President. I don't like him, don't trust him, etc. But he was duly elected, so, yes, he's *shudder* my President.

He advocated for the commission of war crimes during his campaign.

Geneva Conventions bar Donald Trump's idea of killing terrorists' families, as Rand Paul says

He selected a white supremacist as his chief strategist.

White Nationalists Rejoice at Trump's Appointment of Breitbart's Stephen Bannon

His chief strategist says that this presidency will be as exciting as the 1930's - for a quick history lesson, that was the decade that gave us the great depression, the rise of European fascism, and the beginning of world war 2.

Steve Bannon Is Dreaming of a Permanent Trumpist Majority

There was a lot of confusion about whether or not Trump wanted a registry of Muslims (much the same as Germany's registry of Jews)

In Context: Donald Trump's comments on a database of American Muslims

Welcome to the rise of the alt-reich in America.

He will be president of the United States on January 21st, but in now way does he represent me, I do not support his views, and will oppose him when he attempts to take away the rights of my fellow Americans.

Are you a US citizen? Then technically he will be your President.

That's right, get behind the dear leader or get out. No opposing views should be tolerated, that's how democracy works.
