What you are saying is like claiming that if you start at the last letter and work your way back towards the first, each step to the previous letter is the same colour.

And then you get surprised when you claim that the blue letter at the end should be the same colour as the red letter at the top, because you never noticed a change of colour as you went.

When I posted using the word mutation it was in error and stemmed from my laziness in not going back and rereading a posters simple post to 57 and AV "we fear of a modified planet"

I already understood this to mean that science has the ability to change (mutate) genes to bring forth a better man(not sure that is the case since it isn't the outward package that dictates the right idea of a better person)

Genetic mutations naturally occur in every new born individual of every species. Some species have an average that is somewhat different to others. We call this the "mutation rate" of a species. In Humans, it averages to about 50 mutations per new born.

As DNA is inherited by off spring, new generations inherit the mutated DNA of the previous generation. And that's how mutations accumulate over generations.

Your DNA is the result of an unbroken chaing of 3.8 billion years worth of reproduction and passing on of mutated genetic material.

This is not something that "science does" or whatever. This is not genetic manipulation.
It's a natural process that is easily testable.
