So just bus 'em all outa here with no regard for the consequences? The right is notorious for short-sighted actions and no exit plans.
If you come here illegally then you have no business being here. If we got rid of birthright people may be less likely to come here, illegally.

Some of these people were brought here as babies and toddlers. They had no say in it, and they have no life anywhere else.

Well, they are free to come here legally as adults.

What's "our level" exactly?
Some of us have a unique perspective of the world because our careers forced us to live/visit/work in numerous places. And no matter how many places I went none of them had the same combination of things that you can find here in the US. My conclusion is "Rest of the World is a nice place to visit but wouldn't want to live there"...

That's about as diplomatic a response as could be achieved from being called out about your original arrogant comment where you ran down the entire planet.

It isn't.

This is a democracy awarding victory to a candidate that placed 2nd in the overall votes because of a tally system that disenfranchises half the country.

I mean, come on, you think mob rule is the party or a candidate with a plurality or majority winning? What do you want exactly? Runners up to win?
Why do you keep using the word democracy (that's mob rule) we're a republic...

Maybe you should go see what the rest of it is like...

You think that expecting that the winner of an election should have a plurality or majority of the vote is mob rule?

Keep in mind, though, that your preferred combination is not necessarily the same as the combination of the things that other people want or need. The United States is certainly the best place in the world for some people, but it's not at the top of every world ranking.

Do you understand that some countries frequently, on a variety of categories, beat out the US on best places to live?
Then why do so many people want to come here to make a living and not stay there???

Immigrants en masse are currently flooding into Europe, not US. The fact that the US is English has a lot to do with it, and has a 'legend' about its opportunities. It's a solid place to live, but the Scandinavian countries, Canada, New Zealand chart higher when it comes to living standards.

If they want high taxes, high unemployment and live in the same houses for 2-3 generations then yeah I suppose they would like it in one of those other places...

Norway's unemployment rate is the same as Americas. Taxes are probably higher, but public services are probably better.

So if more people were employed there would be no need for higher taxes to pay for public services or handouts, would there?. This would enable more people to chase their dream of being able to do whatever they desire because they have the means to achieve/pay for it...

Those are the things you care most about. I'm glad that you have found a country that matches your priorities, but not everyone is exactly like you.

I have to assume that you have a particular country in mind in this comparison. It's not as if the United States is the only country in the world with low unemployment.

What?

Norway's tax rate is undoubtedly higher than the US, but they have a stronger public service/welfare system. A nationalised health care system, cheap (free?) public transport, cheaper education etc. I suspect they're much higher up when it comes to economic equality.

They could have been staying in their own region if the time and resources were spent to enable them to stay there. But for some reason European leaders thought it would be a good idea (more votes I guess) to bring them in. But as always it's not the leaders/elites who have to pony up for all these freebies for the immigrants it's the people who have to work for a living, a form of economic slavery so to speak...
