Our Sabbath is found in Hebrews 4, and its not a day of the week.
Hebrews 4 says it remains unchanged from what it was in Psalms 95 - in David's day...
And of course in David's day it was the SEVENTH day of the week according to Ex 20:8-11 and Genesis 2:1-3.
That's not what it says. It says they shall not enter His rest, and that today is the day of salvation. Its not a certain day of the weak but is now.
More Bible -- less making stuff up please.
Hebrews 4
Therefore,
since a promise remains of entering His rest,
let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed
the Gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard
it. 3 For
we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:
“So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’”
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh
day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; 5 and again in this
place: “They shall not enter My rest.”
6 Since therefore
it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7 again He designates a certain day,
saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:
PSALMS 95
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
Heb 11
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a
good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Faith at the Dawn of History
4
By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
5
By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was
not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith
it is impossible to please
Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and
that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
7
By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became
heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
13
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but
having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced
them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also
of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33
who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again.
Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance,
that they might obtain a better resurrection.
