Well I've never claimed to be benevolent, Neo. I tend to reserve benevolence for those I see as deserving. I don't extend it to everyone.

The silly thing about that is that he actually described his own views...not mine.

It's okay, he's like a rubber duck. He almost always comes back for more.

Although lately he has been listing to the side a bit. He will tell you that is normal.

Well let me put it this way...

He believes he knows something that is so important, he'll never learn anything else as remotely important. He'll never learn something "life-altering"...he'll never learn anything else that could shape who he is or his understanding of the world. In a sense, he's done learning anything important. Everything he'll learn from now on is a triviality compared to what he believes he already knows....

It's the very essence of what is meant by "close-minded". A world of possibilities is gone forever to him. A world of understanding is lost.

The irony in this....is that he views his position as "superior" to all others.
