There is so much wrong in this thread and a couple of you legitimately strike fear into me with how unhinged you are. This thread is dripping with so much repressed racism and hatred, whether it's believed to be justified or not. It's frightening. I also agree with Papazoom. That guy's remarks are 2 steps away from a goosestep in Hugo Boss fashion.

There are people dying and all people can do is pull insane partisan rhetoric as if liberals or republicans have anything to do with this at all. Get a clue Sistrin.
The hatred started with Patrick T's remarks to be honest. And of course those who follow the course he sets.
Pray for the people of Belgium and all of Europe. Pray for this forum that individuals like that aren't banned so as to keep the peace.

Hatred is a virus. Every member of ISIS started out hating America, Infidels, those not like them.

God's mercy be with his people. And God's justice find the evil that is responsible for Brussels and act swiftly to rectify the trespass against innocence.

Its theirs, since i´m a voter and the right wing party i vote for already gained 25% in the last election.

That's like saying that the problem in nazi germany were the jews.

And a european has not a name that consists only of some guttural sounds.

Lucas Van Hessche is a belgian name.
Get a clue.

I put their well being below my target of security and stability.

Yes, indeed. Indeed, you do.

That famous quote of Benjamin Franklin comes to mind.........

The only thing they will get from me is a cold look at them and a higher fence.

And the only thing your will reap from such a mentality is even more insecurity and instability.

Beside that i see no difference between ISIS and the erst of them.

Indeed, you do not. That's what the "blind" in "blind hatred" means.

They are criminals the moment they want enter illegally the boarder and should be treated as that.

Are you aware about conventions and treaties concerning refugees?
It seems like you don't.

How easy it must be to sit in your comfy couch to condemn those who run for their lives, risking everything and their children, to seek refuge.

I don't wish anyone to be in such a situation, but for people like you, it might be an eye opener.

The fact of the matter is that you would do the exact same thing if you found yourself in a similar situation. Show some humanity, for goodness' sake...

Is "keep calm" a euphemism for stay the course so this will surely happen again?
There's no question that this will happen again. And again, and again, and probably quite a few more times after that over the coming decades.

'Keep calm' is not a euphemism for 'do nothing'. It means what it implies; take unemotional decisions and put events in context.

With all due respect, but all this is completly legal. The fence in Idomeni is legal. The deportation camps and process in greece is legal. Their deportation into turkey is legal. They don´t seek refuge. They want money and luxury and some may seek entrance to comit terrorist attacks.

I assure you that evrything there is completly legal. What they want is asylum optimisation. According to laws you are not allowed to chose the nation you want have asylum in.

They already show terrorist behehavior there. They attack the food supply in their camp. Two set themself on fire. Looks like they don´t understand that such actions don´t get you what you want in a civilized society.

And no, i can´t think myself into their situation. I´m german and we don´t tend to run away and leave our nation, families and friends alone at home.

Don´t even try to invoke some compassion for them. My feelings regarding them are best represented in the antarctic dry valleys.

Salaschuischi % Abdelshaajhdjhdw is not a european name.

Lucas Van Hessche is not.
Jejoen Bontinck is not.
Delafortrie is not.

And regardless of your obvious "racism" (by lack of a better word), it doesn't change the fact that the Abdeslams were all born and raised in Belgium.

They aren't refugees. They aren't immigrants.

In the Name, Power and Authority of Jesus Christ the Almighty,
I renounce any attacks of the enemies of God.
I renounce the presence of any enemies of God.
I command them to be bound and rebuked away and never return!
Holy Ghost, please empower this prayer right now.

I didn´t know germany and syria share a boarder, since UN law states the neighbor countries must house them.

As austrias interior minister Frau Mikl-Leitner said, they aren´t refugees once tehy leave turkey. From then on they are asylum optimizers.

As for Raqqa...you may understand my feelings towards the capital of the IS are rather colder than the antarctic dry valleys. You rather reach sputnik regio on Pluto.

Dude.......... please, just stop talking about stuff that you obviously have NO CLUE about.

I actually know people that were in his class in high school.
Until just a few years ago, the dude was a pot-smoking party animal.

Yet ultimately it didn't matter, did it? All that exposure to European culture didn't make a difference. Nature trumped nurture.

This thread is dripping with so much repressed racism and hatred, whether it's believed to be justified or not. It's frightening.

What should be frightening is the growing number of Islamic terrorist attacks occurring around the world and the severity of the outcomes.

ISIS goes global: 75 attacks in 20 countries have killed 1,280 people

(CNN) Since declaring its caliphate in June 2014, the self-proclaimed Islamic State has conducted or inspired nearly 75 terrorist attacks in 20 countries other than Iraq and Syria, where its carnage has taken a much deadlier toll; those attacks outside Iraq and Syria have killed at least 1,280 people and injured more than 1,770 others.

Source: http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/17/world/mapping-isis-attacks-around-the-world/

But rather than have an actual opinion all you apparently want to do is accuse people who do not share your world view of racism.

There are people dying and all people can do is pull insane partisan rhetoric as if liberals or republicans have anything to do with this at all. Get a clue Sistrin.

America has a two party system. At the moment a liberal Democrat occupies the oval office. Are you actually attempting to make the claim the President of the United States has no ability to affect foreign policy in regard to world terrorism?

Or are you just mad because I pointed out that while the incident in Belgium was still ongoing our President was sitting at a baseball game doing the wave with a brutal Communist dictator?

Khalid and Brahim El Bakraoui are the 2 suicide bombers from the airport. Both are from Brussels and not refugees.

A fact which, if true, should generate more concern. The fact they were from Brussels only serves to prove a point made by many, both here and elsewhere. No assimilation is occurring. The population is embedded with people willing to party with the infidel one night, and then murder him savagely and in great numbers the next morning.

Your claim and or fact these current jihadist were from Brussels in no manner abrogates the concern over refugees. It only amplifies it.

I didn´t know germany and syria share a boarder, since UN law states the neighbor countries must house them.

Do you really wish to invoke international law here? Because your entire rant is in violation of it:

The Contracting States shall accord to refugees within their territories treatment at least as favorable as that accorded to their nationals with respect to freedom to practice their religion and freedom as regards the religious education of their children.

By any and all accounts, the contracting states of the UN that signed the treaties concerning refugess, are legally bound to do everything they can to help refugees according to the rules of the treaty.

ALL contracting parties. Not just those that border the countries the refugees are feeling from.

Also, are you know saying that you would be happy to take in millions upon millions of refugees, if Germany happened to border Syria?

Who are you trying to fool, dude?

As austrias interior minister Frau Mikl-Leitner said, they aren´t refugees once tehy leave turkey. From then on they are asylum optimizers.

A single country can't handle all those refugees. Other states that signed the UN treaty are legally bound to help out.

As for Raqqa...you may understand my feelings towards the capital of the IS are rather colder than the antarctic dry valleys. You rather reach sputnik regio on Pluto.

You insinuated that the people that used to live there aren't really fleeing the city in fear of their very lives, but that they are rather in search of "money and luxury".

But good job and pretending otherwise.

"nature"?

So, was it also the "nature" of the native Belgians like Lucas Van Hessche, Delafortrie, Jejoen Bontinck,... ?

You see, unlike al-qaida folks, ISIS' threat is a dificult one because for the most part it consists of foreign fighters. People FROM Europe. People FROM Russia.

There is no "return them to the country of origin", because their countries of origin ARE the countries they are in, in Europe.

Good job on ignoring the point that was made.

Which, obviously, was that American wars in Iraq is what paved the way for ISIS to form and grow.
Or hey, we can go back to how the continental powers wiped out the Ottoman empire and then split up the area like thieves..... but then we wouldn't be blaming this on America...

OR we can stop pretending that middle easterners have no agency and blame them for it.

But rather than have an actual opinion all you apparently want to do is accuse people who do not share your world view of racism.

There are 1.2 billion muslims in the world.
When someone starts to target that entire community, arabs specifically, for the actions of a couple hundred, then we can only call it racism.

A fact which, if true, should generate more concern. The fact they were from Brussels only serves to prove a point made by many, both here and elsewhere. No assimilation is occurring.

These people were born and raised in Belgium. They were as Belgian as me.

Also, I don't want people to "assimilate". I only want them to "integrate". There's a difference.

The population is embedded with people willing to party with the infidel one night, and then murder him savagely and in great numbers the next morning.

Are you aware that random mass shootings occur in the US on a weekly basis?
How is that different, really?

It's indiscriminate killing of innocents.

Your claim and or fact these current jihadist were from Brussels in no manner abrogates the concern over refugees. It only amplifies it.

I don't see how it amplifies it, seeing as these terrorists weren't refugees at all.
