I can see that being picked up, but I don't think that could be argued. There are those on both sides of the political spectrum that the actions of either side aren't acceptable.

If the country is to be polarized between these two "sides," no ordinary person could side with the anarchists and totalitarians against a candidate for the presidency who is where he is because the free electoral system has made him what he is...even with some cringeworthy off-the-cuff comments. The contrast is just too much and too stark and the stakes too important.

Agreed. These types of protests are not in my mind protests at all. They are not well thought out and are designed not to render any light to an issue, but to extinguish all light, everywhere, except that which in their hands.

I'm old school and have been around arguing these same issues from the 70's, on to today. Back then, we had to have freedom of speech to get our point across and I know he necessity of it. These new people have never had the need for it, since they have had so many on their side that they think it is irrelevant and If I know to tolerance of the American people for what is essentially tyranny, they will come back on these people like gangbusters in a very short time.

They will end up being scene as Peta is seen today, as more of a prank orientated organization than anything to be respected.

I think police should have arrested more than just three people in this. Everyone responsible for the blockade even standing shoulder to shoulder should have been in handcuffs.

Personally I think that civil lawsuits should happen and all the people who were illegally trapped by this blockade should sue in court this group of people and then after it gets out that if you participate in this type of action you could be paying through the nose for the next 10 years of your life it may dissuade many to think twice before doing so...

An argument is developing that, if one believes in the rule of law and free elections, you're almost morally obligated to vote for Donald Trump rather than abet the actions of all those who are willing to--and have made it public that they intend to--thwart the will of the people as expressed in the primary elections and do so by whatever method is available to them.

Besides that we are going to threaten people that if they protest they will be sued? Not all those people were blocking the roadway, so they should be punished for the actions of others because they were there, independently exercising their right to freedom of speech? I don't think that would be a good message to send.
