I do not reject evolution. I have said a million, billion, quadrillion times there is no conflict between science and religion. None, zip, zero. What part of nothing do you have trouble understanding. True science and true religion are 100% compatible. There just so happens to be false religion and false science out there. In fact the whole aim and purpose of science is to find the truth and eliminate the false. Religion also claims a zeal for the truth.

Joshua, I am an electrical engineer. May I suggest you look up the word "engineer" and see how it applies to Bill Nye the Mechanical Engineer and how it encompasses science? Do yourself a favor and gain an understanding of what an engineer is, and isn't.

For real have they not studied evolution? I'm thinking of going into engineering too but I've already taken 4 classes that teach evolution & I'm a junior. It's not just biology that teaches it. Like in astronomy we learned stellar evolution & obviously in DNA Science evolution was a huge part of it.

Ok.. I thought you knew more about science.. Umm.. simply put.. evolution is only one very small part of science.. there are other disciplines of science that have nothing to do with evolution. Evolution is just one tiny part of science. So to say the following:

This comment shows how blinkered and self centred you are. I guess you think that the antidote for polio just happened. You know some doctor said "I have found the antidote to polio."

Actually, they said it after they worked on finding it... you know work, correct? It's what you do when you get tired of waiting for everything to come floating down like manna form heaven...

The fact that God created man with a brain that can think and discover never entered your head. That means that God gave man the ability to understand the cause of polio and the antidote for it.

And thankfully, there were enough men (and women, mustn't forget the women) who stopped looking for God to answer all their questions for them, and got down to the answers themselves. That, boys and girls, is why we no longer have Polio.

And we need to thank God for that as the cause of polio in the first place was man's sin which has caused the decay and degeneration that had been taking place over the last 6,000 years.

And yet, all the prayer and repentance in the world did absolutely nothing to stop Polio...
