That Hammurabi existed as a real person is much better substantiated than the existence of Moses. I don't think that Hammurabi has tales told about him that are belied by reality.

I no of no valid tests for either the Bible or your version of God. But tell us, what test would show that your idea of God is wrong? If you can't think of one then your idea cannot be tested and probably does not reflect reality.

Actually science can make predictions. If I throw a ball up in the air and now the velocity of the ball and force of gravity I can predict when and where it will come down. If I am wrong that means that my view of reality is wrong.

No, there are all sorts of predictions that we can make with science. There are no tests that I know of for the Bible. Except for the ones that it has already failed. Remember that tests are two edged. They can support your ideas or show them to be wrong.

Isis ie the Muslims and the Hebrews both call Abraham their father. As a gentile we are adopted into the family of God. We are not from the middle east and are not Hebrew or Muslim. My wife I can trace back to the middle east based on her fathers last name. That goes back before Abraham though so she most likely is not a descendant of Abraham either.

My point was that you were making a rather obvious error in your use of certain terms.

The concept of scientific evidence is well defined. There is none that I know of. And that is the fault of creationists. They are afraid to put their ideas to the test. It is up to the person that is putting an idea forward to come up with reasonable tests for that idea. Since creationists are afraid to put up or shut up they end up having no scientific evidence at all.

And modern scholars do not think that Luke and Acts were written by Luke. Neither is signed, in fact all Gospels are anonymous. The authorship was assigned to them long after the fact.
