You start with zero jaw bones in the first fish, as currently seen in Agnatha. The first arch becomes the jaw in later fish. The 2nd arch becomes additional jaw bones in tetrapods. One branch of amniotes, the mammals, had those 2nd and 3rd jaw bones become middle ear bones.

The two take separate paths. Fish do have primitive slits, mammals never have slits. The jaw bones don't differ in formation.

Mammals actually evolved on dry land. Perhaps because they came out of the water then it was easy for them to return to the ocean. I see more of a connection between fish and birds sense birds seem to swim though the air above rather then the water below.

There is definitely a post-anal tail. There is no doubt about that.

In China they selling clothing where one size fits all. Some things are more of a stretch then others. If what you say it true then God was able to come up with one basic design where one fits all. He was able to adapt that basic design to create all the different species you see today. That is pretty amazing really. But to say this is all a result of accidents, errors, mistakes or mutations. That is a bit to much of a "stretch" for me to imagine or accept.

I've never attacked a single post on TalkOrigins.org either. There is no point
