  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Fossilization is extremely rare, yet we still have a ginormous fossil record. We even have the fish to amphibian transitional. It's called Tiktaalik. http://tiktaalik.uchicago.edu/meetTik.html

Oh we also have a huge hominid fossil collection.

Here is a collection with more variation that goes even wayer back to when giants roamed the earth:

First, "wayer" is not a word.
The evolution of dogs is guided selection. Humans domesticated dogs about 40,000 years ago. Choosing what features they liked and discarded the ones they didn't.
Genome sequencing shows that the dog, grey wolf and extinct Taymyr wolf diverged at the same time. Modern dogs are more closely related to ancient wolfs.

I'm not sure what giants you are talking about. Have any evidence for this?

I'm confused.....do you accept the theory of evolution or not? Because the first sentence indicates that you don't but then you link an Smithsonian article on genetic evidence that supports the theory of evolution. Are you.....not reading what you are linking?

Shalom everybody,
I was reading on Smithsonian institutes page on human origins and I saw this picture. If you look to the lower right it says " the last common ancestor of humans and chimps. We do not yet have its remains."
Shalom shalom!

Evolution is a game of connect-the-dots.

Evolutionists even make up the dots if they have to, to keep the picture looking nice.

Any "holes" in their paradigm will be "hypothesized" into the whole of their philosophy.

Then sold to the general public as an alternative to man being created in the image & likeness of God.

Evolution brings big bucks into our colleges and universities.

So, explain the genetic evidence.
what genetic evidence might that be?
for example:
Available data indicate that no insurmountable barrier to HGT exists, even in complex multicellular eukaryotes. In addition, the discovery of both recent and ancient HGT events in all major eukaryotic groups suggests that HGT has been a regular occurrence throughout the history of eukaryotic evolution.
-Horizontal gene transfer in eukaryotes The weak-link model.htm

do you even realize what the above is saying?
Explain all the transitional fossils.
as of 1995, less than 4% of the hominid fossil tree has been found.
eldredge himself, in post 40, does a fair job at explaining the "evidence"
What is it if there isn't evolution?
apparently it's something that you wasn't taught.

Humans have 23 pairs pairs of chromosomes. Apes have 24! Are u saying we share a common ancestor with tobacco also, since the tobacco plant has 24 chromosomes also? Lol
Well, plants and animals do share a common ancestor, so technically we do, but that goes back a lot further and has nothing to do with chromosome count.

Second degree of thermodynamics.

Interesting claim. So show us one thing that is necessary for macroevolution, that is contrary to the 2nd law. Prediction: no such thing will be presented.

Why don't you address the actual fossils?
The last common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees, We do not yet have its remains. Lol
-Smithsonian national museum

So is it fair to assume, then, that your answer is "No, I have no rebuttal to the fossil information posted by the evolutionists"?

I'm a bit confused, people are offloading tons of evidence to reply to your posts, and you just keep quoting the same line over and over again.
