  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Then they do have an excuse, they didn't have a chance, they were doomed from birth.
God is just but also merciful. He saves whom he pleases. If you can go stand before God and accuse Him of beING unjust go right ahead. You are trying to judge a holy righteous God with the reasoning of man. Not going to work.

No sir, those billions of people never had a chance. They were born for hell from the womb in other words.

Excuse? They didn't even know they needed an excuse. They'll go to hell innocent and confused.

INNOCENT AND CONFUSED?????? Not at all they know their is a God and that he judges rightly. He wants nothing to do with God. Rejects him and blasphems Him. You are no better with your evil of Arminisism.

Sure, innocent and confused. The sin of Adam was imputed unto the billions....but they don't have a clue what you're talking about. Who's Adam...what's sin? They know there is a God? How? Will knowing that God, apart from Jesus Christ, save them?

This God that you say they know, how do they know Him?

Ohh but I say yes. They HAVE too. They see God everyday and reject Him. They are always saying no.

They've never heard the name or mention of Jesus. Billions who have lived without their names written in the Book of Life, thus assuring them of the destination of hell.

I have laid out the truth of Scripture as clearly as I could as a 15 year old. The fact is that you deny that God is everything and man is nothing. You try to exalt man and make him do something. That is why Satan fell. He exalted himself.

You're trying to say that the vast majority of mankind is born with no hope or ability for salvation and God is ok with that.

Explain to me about God being ok with the vast majority of humanity being hopeless and worthless.
Ahh not even basing his arguments off the Bible. I have said many things from the Bible and your response always was your own reasoning. God is not a God of man's reasoning. He will justly judge. In the last judgement you will have no excuse before God who is the final judge. Good Night. I no longer wish to talk to someone that has proved them self to hate God because you tell lies about him to push your own agenda.

The agenda is about God taking care of His creation.

That's not addressing His choosing the names of those who are written in the Book of Life.

It has everything to do with it.

Why would God be disappointed with where he created man when he knew the outcome before he did it, just as he knew the eight he would choose before he chose them.

It's the same as writing a name that you know is not going to be there ... whats the point of blotting out what to you is not there in the first place ... or hating one over another before they were born having the fore-knowledge of what you knitted together would do.

One would have to ask the question Did you create the one you hated so that you could hate ...

Either God is the truth as an absolute or he is not, he cannot be both, just as we cannot.

Do you understand what the feast of Pentecost has to do with a perception that is as a feast of self we eat of ? or why someone can seek death and it flee from them ?

That's good humanistic "logic". But since God desires the salvation of all men, and Christ died for the sins of the world, all may be saved if all will repent and believe. Therefore all are in the Book of Life until they fail to obey the Gospel. When the books are opened and a name is not found in the Book of Life, we may assume that God will ask that individual, "Did you obey the Gospel"? The answer will be "No". This will confirm God's just decision to blot that name out of the Book of Life.

If you were not written from the foundation of the world you were not written (which John supposedly said not once but twice), which is also the case with Judas, whom Jesus said he chose, and according to Peter, his end written before ever he was born.

If everyone's name was written and none blotted out, there would be no need for a Book. Why go to the trouble?

Why plant a tree that you don't want anyone to eat from ... and then be disappointed when they do ... or asking Adam where he was, though it's not hard to see that it wasn't God who needed an answer ...

It is a there and back again journey, not of God's, but of our perception of God as our father, and how we relate to him as a son, and what entering into the city, which Jesus related to as not being able to enter unless you came from there.

(By the time you get to David) To God light and darkness are the same, but in the beginning, God called the light good, which then makes darkness evil by default.

It's the dialectic, or in one form the two fruits of one tree.

That doesn't answer the question. Writing everyone's name in the Book isn't choosing at all, it's simply listing making a needless list. John Doe's name is in the Book, but listed or not makes no difference to the eternal outcome of John.

Life is not a book no more than knowledge is a fruit that grows on a tree; but if there is no remberance of former things, a name in a book has no meaning, let alone a name that could be blotted out, or was never there in the first place.

Unless you understand what former things are concerning the process of coming to the consensus of self then what there is no remembrance of you are already ensnared by (it's not the content of the question, it is the question).

It does make no sense that God is love, and the only one ever lost, the one that never was.
