What Language Does God Speak

Aramaic, Avestan, Sanskrit, etc.?

I believe God tells us about Her, Him Self more from the environment we find among ourselves more reliable than what other people have told us about this God in books and Languages…

That said there is a lot of good inspiration to be found in our Religious traditions and I find linguistics interesting…

Engravings, Hieroglyphics, Languages and Pictographs from beyond written History I would like to learn more about….

So "what language does God speak"? The Spirit can "speak" through the human and reveal Itself in your heart..

When God spoke to me, He used my language, and He used His Visions, and His Feelings. His Visions and His feelings had content. My words and the way I understood those words, is the language God used with me.

I believe God is capable of contacting humans in dreams and visions.

I believe God is fully capable of having written Word - that He is faithful to back up with His actions.

I don't think God is limited to hieroglyphics.

Although there can be no question or doubt as to the sweetness of the Persian tongue, yet it hath not the scope of the Arabic. There are many things which have not been expressed in Persian, that is to say, words referring to such things have not been devised, whilst in Arabic there are several words describing the same thing. Indeed there existeth no language in the world as vast and comprehensive as Arabic. This statement is prompted by truth and fairness; otherwise it is clear that in this day the world is being illumined by the splendours of that Sun which hath dawned above the horizon of Persia, and that the merits of this sweet language can scarcely be overestimated."

I believe that God was not affected by the Babel Incident. Thus His language was not confused. I believe that He understands all languages since He understands our prayers. I believe that He speaks all Languages since He answers our prayers.

I know the Jews believe that the language is Hebrew but I have trouble believing that to be so. Hebrew is a language affected by Babel, since I see no exclusion of it in Scripture. Hebrew has changed over the years (as has all languages). Modern Hebrew is quite different than Biblical Hebrew. When my brother went to Hebrew School in preparation for his Bar Mitzvah, he learned a different Hebrew than I learned a few short years before.
