  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What should the electoral color of the Falconist Party be?

We aren't trying to build a one party state. In fact we may still have a two party system, the Falconist Party and everybody else.

Then your objection to the two party system is not that it limits choices but rather that your party is not one of the two?

Your "Falconist Party" sounds like an attempt at a one party system.

We will break the two party monopoly, we will build a government owned bank, we will consolidate cities and counties into the political units we see fit, we will expand the military, we will expand programs meant to encourage youth to become militaristic.

^That's a bizarre platform, I will stick with Democrats and Republicans over fascism and total government control any day.

Funny, when Democrats are in charge, it looks more and more like "fascism".

The most bizarre and entirely strange parts of the "Falconist" platform is wanting to unite with Canada, Mexico, and make other countries part of the United States. It also welcomes ANY country that wishes to become apart of the United States.

This rejects the ideas of sovereignty, nationhood, and our civilization itself. That is an extremely far-left and internationalist world view.

Wanting to conquer the world is not really a left/right kind of thing.

Lots of nationalists liked the idea of empire though throughout history so you are incorrect.

I may be misunderstanding, but the "Falconist" platform wants to not simply conquer countries, but also make them equal parts of the United States and give them the same rights and freedoms as every other American, which is extremely left-wing. It was also never implied that they would seek unification with Canada and Mexico through military efforts.

Canada is so similar to the US we can admit Canada into the union as ten new states with no trouble. Mexico, Central America and the Carribean nations on the other hand will be made territories or commonwealths first under the supervision of American Proconsuls. Their governments will have to be cleansed of corruption. Their infrastructure needs to be rebuilt. And they all must learn to speak the English language. When most of the population in each territory or commonwealth meets the requirements for American citizenship, then we will confer US Statehood on that territory or commonwealth

And why would we want them as either a commonwealth or a state?

I doubt Pax-Americana is going to go off so smoothly. They also seem to understand this since we see the call for a big fat military ramp-up/militarization of society.

The forced resettling of inner city folks is going to be pretty rocky as well.

How do you propose to win over the Canadians and Mexicans and Central Americans to the idea?

Yeah, it would be a total disaster on a gigantic scale. One of the worst ideas I've heard in a while.

Canada will have 10-13 seats in the Senate and a sliver of House seats. Canada would have more influence in American policy than Canada ever could as a sovereign nation. Mexico or the Central American countries we could just outright buy out their leaders or offer cash to each inhabitant who votes for annexation. The standard of living in these countries will drastically improve as we rebuild their infrastructure and cleanse their governments of corruption

The US Government can buy out the leaders of these countries. Some countries have no working government at all and we can just fly in. Military action will only be necessary if any nation poses a clear and present threat to the United States.
