California , it has been like spring all winter. Many would say that is great. Not so, we are in the worst drought in many years. We need rain and lots of it but it is too late in the year. Many towns are in danger of running out of water by mid summer. Plan on your produce prices going up, many farms just don't have the water needed and won't be planting this year. So warm sunny weather isn't always a good thing.

We've had some very hot (for the UK!) weather recently. Last night there was a dramatic thunderstorm, with sheet lightening and plenty of rain (after I'd watered the garden! LOL!). Today warm and sunny; tonight comfortable.
