Oh, this is about marriage! I have been laboring under the delusion that it was some kind of screed against transgender persons.
Heh... If the parable fits...

The US Govt, and States, and Federal Supreme Courts are insisting on "pushing" gay marriage on us, all the while they are distancing themselves from EVERYTHING considered religious.
Well, MARRIAGE as it's been defined is a Religious Institution, one in which the govt, by their own words has no business participating or recognizing for legal purposes.
If we want, we can petition the court to NOT RECOGNIZE MARRIAGE at all, since it is after a HOLY UNION between man and woman.
Take it away from them, and force all unions to be civil ones, where the Holy Institution of Marriage is performed ceremoniously before God, but on paper as a civil union at the county clerks office.
If we want to win, it's our only chance.
At which point, only unholy apostate churches will ceremoniously perform gay marriages, and we can systematically eliminate/de-recognize them from the true BODY OF CHRIST.![]()
First, let's be clear that there is no animosity toward homosexuals involved here. Homosexuals are sinners just like the rest of us; no more/no less.
Given that, then the issue regarding homosexuality in general is not "us vs. them" it is "what does God say about the issue". And the answer to that is both clear and unequivocal. What some men choose to do with that is between them and God.
The issue regarding marriage is also both clear and unequivocal: we know exactly what Marriage is, traditionally (or historically). And no homosexual union meets that criteria. We know exactly what a horse is, and no matter how much equivocation we try, a Ford Mustang simply is not a horse.
Wait...so this is about marriage not cars?

The government can do whatever it wants. If it wants to pretend that an abomination is a marriage we can't stop them. However, churches don't have to recognize those abominations as marriages. God knows that those aren't real marriages in His sight and so do we. Even now the government says that gambling and pornography are acceptable but we know that they are not. The government of Las Vegas says that prostitution is acceptable but as Christians we know that it isn't.
The end is coming fast anyway. Before long Christ will come again and all those who have supported the abomination of homosexual "marriage" and other such ungodly things will be thrown into hell and destroyed. Those Judas' who "kiss" Christ and claim to be followers while betraying Him with advocating abominations will suffer the most. Jesus commended the believers in Revelation 2 and said "I know your works, your labor and your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are Apostles, and they are not, and have found them LIARS."
...or we wont be.

American police have killed 183 people this year
We tend to forget the rest of the story...
According to statistics collected by the FBI, 95 law enforcement officers were killed in line-of-duty incidents in 2012. In addition, 52,901 officers were victims of line-of-duty assaults.
And of the arrest-related deaths in that same year, 97% were deemed legal and justifiable, or not due to any officer misconduct, by independent investigation (often either Grand Jury or independent investigators appointed outside the agency).
FBI statistics...
Uhmmm...my sig isn't what this thread is about.
