Case in point:
I think I seen some of that. Well you cant make anyone do anything they dont want to. In fact trying to only turns them off. But everyone should have the right to have their opinion and no one should put others down for what they believe. Even if it is different to your own and you feel they are wrong.I only ever seem to debate theists who insist that I am in some way intellectually obligated to share their theological commitments. There are some theists who acknowledge that it is not unreasonable for others to not believe as they do. See my recent exchange with cedric as an example. Our conversation did not take the form of a debate. It didn't need to.

Ah, you have found much truth, beauty and goodness!I already do and have found much truth, beauty and goodness.

I already do and have found much truth, beauty and goodness. IN Atheism I find the acme of ugliness.
That's a nice looking girl in your photo, do you only focus on her flaws like you do religion or do you appreciate the positive aspects of her existence?
I see plenty of flaws in religion, in the Bible, it's to be expected where humans are involved. But you seem to have made a religion out of doubt.
Ah, you have found much truth, beauty and goodness!
Do you think it good that you try to keep all these treasures hidden, or do you think you might want to start acting on these values?
That girl is Chiana, from Farscape:

She has many admirable qualities, but she is not flawless. She has a proclivity for theft, for example.
Asking me whether I appreciate the positive aspects of a fictional character might not have been the best example for you to go with...
How so?
I tend to find much ugliness in religion, and much truth, beauty, and goodness in some atheistic philosophies.
I think that most people, whether atheist or theist, seek truth, beauty, and goodness. We just tend to see these things differently.

To find truth, beauty and goodness in atheism is a form of cosmic insanity first proposed by Lucifer who invested so much of his mischief making pride in his manifesto that he couldn't possibly turn back. The doctrine of doubt is an investment in death as the final accomplishment of life.
I think it is something this site and most modern free countries have as their policy. That doesn't mean that everyone will follow this. But one thing I have learnt working in the community sector is 1) you cant assume anything about anyone by their looks or what you have heard. 2) No matter what others believe or what their race, religion, lifestyle, culture, gender, age is they all have the right to equal access, opportunity to the same service as anyone else not matter what I personally believe or think. Its hard sometimes when you disagree with them or they may want to do or say something totally wrong. I can point out the possible consequences but I cant stop them from doing what they do if it doesn't affect others. Or even themselves as this is a legal requirement under a duty of care. But everyone should get a fair go and you shouldn't ridicule others just because they are different or you disagree with their point of view or beliefs for that matter. This is what makes us all different.Could you dedicate this post to our urantian friend over there, please?
As discussed in our previous exchange, there is no shortage of religionists eager to share their theology with us. Few seem willing to have it critically examined however.I just assumed she was your lady, half of an avatar confused me. Anyway, if you missed the point, the creature may crave perfection but only the creator possesses it. You've made it a practice of picking flaws with religion and the attempts of religionist to share their inner God experience with you.
You've given a good example of the ugliness I mentioned in your distorted views on atheism.
