  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I was looking for connectors so I could wire up my stereo to play in the other room so I could listen to music through good speakers when I workout.

I found old pictures of me before I started shaving my head instead ^_^

You look so blazingly excited in that pic. :D So why did you start shaving your head?

I started shaving it when I was 19 or 20 for a job. Long hair was a safety concern. I took clippers to the middle of my head. I had a reverse mohawk after waiting til the last minute to do it. About a minute after taking the clippers to my head I got a call telling me I didn't have to shave it.

Obviously I couldn't leave it like that so, I shaved it all off.

I either have long hair or no hair. The only time I have anything else is switching from not to long.

No, they played them on the radio though and I heard it.

Does that count. :p

Thanks I do kinda miss it at times.

But being a 30 somethin with long hair....... would just make me feel weird.

Plus, I don't really miss washing it and brushing it. I haven't brushed my hair in over a decade.... its kinda nice.

Plus its nice not having to go to the barber to have them shave my head underneath so it would lay flatter.

hahaaa thanks :D but you have to admit the carparks were a lil bit confusing :p
glad you came :)
I'm just glad we didn't go to a multi-story shopping complex :waaah:
But yeah, they were confusing ^_^

Why are you stood in front of what looks like a Spitfire? :D
Wow, you must know your planes. I just googled spitfire and they do look the same! It was what NumberOfStars drove, don't ask me why we couldn't find it. Or it was just taken because we were at a war memorial, but that sounds less exiting.

Yeah definitely looks like a Spitfire or a Hurricane :D It would make sense if you were at a war memorial or museum. We have to-scale models of them at each Air Force base here, they're awesome :D

Apprently that one doesn't fly though. Got this of wiki

Spitfire F Mk.IIa P7973. This Spitfire was flown by several Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) squadrons in 1941. Assigned to No. 452 Sqn (RAAF) (RAF Kenley and RAF Hornchurch) Flown by Australian pilot "Bluey" Truscott on "Circus 68", a bomber escort mission into France on 9 August 1941. This was the mission in which famous legless RAF pilot Douglas Bader was shot down and became a P.O.W. Aircraft has not been repainted since WW2 however bears the markings of the Central Gunnery School. (Coded R-H) flying 24 operations. In July 1945 it was shipped to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for display. One of the few Spitfires still in its original paint.

Cool :)
