The question asked was not, "Is interracial marriage good thing for society?" Posters here are complaining that interracial marriage is singled out as if it were better, when that was not the question. Details matter.Oh, are we playing Jeopardy? How about is it good for society for different races to marry for 50.
Post the question, it is quite a simple request. If you do not have the wording of the question, it's alright to admit that. However, don't turn this into a bunch of short one-liners where you claim you do not have to post the question or some derivative statements that do not pertain to the topic, that would come off as trolling. You claim to have a problem with the question; if that's the case, you should be able to identify what makes the phrasing of the question problematic. But first, you actually have to post what the question was.The one that asked about interracial marriage

Heterosexual marriage is good for society, but to single out a particular type of heterosexual marriage is a different topic. As I said, the poll question itself was racist
They're responding to the link I posted, which does not contain the phrasing of the question, so complaining about the phrasing of the question when it is not in the link is premature. No they aren't, they are just responding to YOUR link. Yes, details do matter.
The Pew link does not contain the question. If you understand how the question is phrased to the respondent...According to the PEW link, the "interpretation" is identical to the question.

Marriage is no better or worse than any particular intra racial marriage, but I do thing that a trend toward random assortment levels is indicative of less focus on race 2 ich would be a good thing

Please tell me if you think each of the following trends is generally a good thing for American society, a bad thing for American society, or doesn't make much difference?
The question does not ask if interracial marriage is a good thing or imply that it's better than intraracial marriage, thus the bellyaching over the question is misplaced.
The question was inherently racist
It's not racist to find out if racism exists.
Indeed...nor is it racist to recognize that there are various races (some folks tend to want to ignore the elephant in the room by saying he isn't there, as if that would nullify what one sees).
If one isn't racist why then can we not simply recognize races as...what we are....various races? As Popeye said, "I am what I am and that's all what I am." And we all are what we am.![]()
Why then, is it considered racism to believe the various races should remain...the various races and in the words of God, "let the earth bring forth every living creature after it's kind."
There are various races, as well as various mixes of races. What's wrong with that?
Are you suggesting that the different races are different "kinds" mentioned in the Bible?
You are projecting racist views on the Bible. There is no difference in "kind" for humans of different skin colors. There is no such thing as race in the Bible.Indeed...nor is it racist to recognize that there are various races (some folks tend to want to ignore the elephant in the room by saying he isn't there, as if that would nullify what one sees).
