Interesting read. How about you check out this article and tell me what you think.

What if race is more than a social construct? - The Globe and Mail
Science vs. a scientific writer that makes scientific errors. I'll go with science on this one.

Racism, the misuse of genetics and a huge scientific protest - LA Times

I can easily debunk this garbage. What's your race and education level? If you look at me, an African American, it should not be higher than yours since you're white I presume.

The Scientific community can have disagreements, but obviously race is far more than a constructed inorganic idea.

Your use of organic and inorganic is ridiculous, it's not even a correct usage of the words. It is like the author from the link you cited. I've always found it interesting that the less educated members of our society pine for writings like that of Nicholas Wade to whet their appetite for superiority.

I believe my usage of organic and inorganic is entirely correct. Race is FAR more than skin color, and your posts have not really shown otherwise.

You may believe it, but it's not.

Race does not exist. Are there variations in humans? Yes. But those biological differences do not create races, the scientific consensus (much to the chagrin of racists) does not support the existence of races. You posted the work of a man that is not a scientist and he was debunked by the very scientists whose work he attempted to use to push a racist idea. But as I said earlier, I'm sure if we compared our own credentials, it would be apparent that the racial argument you're attempting to make is invalid.

The OP states....social stigmas persist in interracial marriages as if that isn't good. To me, the question should be...Why are there stigmas in the first place? Should they be overthrown? What are God's teaching on what some regard as "social stigmas?"

Is it now okay for same sex marriage because someone is gay? What does God say?

Is it now okay for interracial marriage because someone thinks so? What does God say?

Is it now okay for people to take handouts from the government rather than work? What does God say?

Is it now okay to allow the few to rule the many...to allow atheist to tell believers you can't pray, you can't refer to God, you can't, you can't, you can't because it may offend someone? What would God say?

Is it now okay to do whatever anyone wants because...they think it's just fine and dandy?
Stigmas are defined as, "a mark of disgrace or infamy; a stain or reproach, as on one's reputation." So, should "stigma" be used in regards to Biblical teaching on how one should live one's life? What would God say?

I am a conservative, therefore I am uncomfortable with the destruction of human diversity through interracial marriage.

How does interracial marriage reduce diversity? If you have chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, selling chocolate swirl and neapolitan don't reduce your offerings, they add to it.

Let's check:
acts 4:34-35 said:
34 For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales 35 and lay them at the apostles' feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.

If you mix all the flavours, eventually you get a mucky brown. There is actually a sliver of valid concern to this, of course it's not so much to do with "race" in the traditional sense, but rather maintaining distinctly diverse populations.

Unfortunately, simply saying something does not make it true. :sorry:
The science has been posted right there, it refutes your claim. And you're right, simply saying there is race when there is not does not make it true.

It's interesting that you use the Bible to push a concept as biblical when that concept appeared 1500-1600 years after the life of Jesus.

It remains a social stigma because it takes time for a society to unlearn foolish racism. It used to be taboo for blacks to sit anywhere they want on a bus, it was still a social stigma when the law outlawed segregation, thankfully that is no longer the case.

As long as evil New Zealanders are tricking decent, wholesome Australians into hellish marriages with unholy consequences, I will oppose interracial marriage.
I have already noticed a growing tendency amongst Australians to not bother pronouncing vowels. And sometimes even the odd 'eh' at the end of a sentence.

The assimilation has started.

Not really. Independent assortment will mix and match various skin color genes parents can produce children with lighter skin color than either parent, or darker than either parent. By allowing combinations, we increase diversity.

And now you know why we don't like boat people. Some of the might be kiwis trying to sneak in.
