It's worth noting: IF you get more of a warm, buzzing feeling at the idea of inter-racial marriage than intraracial THEN you are just as bigoted as the person who gets a bad feeling in the converse manner.
And again, you selectively ignore every. single. nonsensical. thing conservatives have said on this thread and target me and only me because I'm so mean and sarcastic. This is the third time now.
OK. Let's say the description you posted describes me. Would that make me just as bigoted and just as bad as the racial purists of the world? I'd argue absolutely not.
Because the people who get their fancies tickled at the thought of mixed relationships don't pass laws to make it so that ONLY mixed marriages are an option. They don't whine and moan and criticize their friends that do decide to marry within their race.
They don't vomit up nonsense about how, by deciding to marry within your race, you are destroying your unique culture somehow singlehandedly.
And they don't quote something that the Bible says about plants and their offspring and then interpret that to include mixed couples. Which, once again, I'm going to remind you that you, Cowboy, selectively
ignored.
Again.
The people who only date inside their race, because of feelings comfort or whatever, I don't care. Even if it could be considered racism or prejudice...I honestly don't care because they are just doing it to themselves.
So no. If you are a white man and white women get you hot and bothered and others don't, I don't care about that either.
Oikophobia is just as bad as xenophobia.
If you talk to an actual psychology person (and not to pseudo-intellectual right-wing British people butchering the actual definition into something they can simply throw at any and all people who like different cultures) then the psychologist will tell you it means aversion to home surroundings and interior. Can't exactly pass law to make sure that other people don't have home appliances and furniture.
Looked through it. Didn't see it.
Saw more than enough cowardice from people who don't even want to discuss it, however.
I'm guessing he's talking about my joke here:
I don't see the question as "is it good for America" but rather...is it good in the eyes of God. I say no, it is not.
Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed
after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose
seed was in itself, after his kind: and
God saw that it was good.
I imagine He's seen a fair amount of mixed couples hook up and thought. "
Wow....that's even better!"
