We all know house chores are important, but even those who like a clean house have chores they hate! And I know there are disorganized people who have chores they enjoy. So what about the chores you do at home.

1. Most hated, dreaded, chore?

2. Most enjoyable, relaxing, or fun chore?

3. A chore a lot of people hate, but you don't mind or tolerate doing?

I loathe dusting, which is odd considering it's like the most easy of all household cleaning chores. I hate it though...if I could I'd let my house turn into a haunted looking mansion with all the cobwebs everywhere.

I'm going to add an edit and say it's not cleaning the bathroom that bugs me, but cleaning the bathtub/shower. I get to that point and stand by the tub and stare at it, weighing the pros and cons of cleaning it. Should I clean it, or leave it for another week? But I'm fine with cleaning the rest of the bathroom.

1. Most hated, dreaded, chore?
Cleaning dishes (especially pans) or hanging laundry. Both of them are such a PAIN to me :T

2. Most enjoyable, relaxing, or fun chore?
Mowing the lawn (tractor of course) or vacuuming. Mowing is just relaxing to me and vacuuming is something I've liked since I was 4 even though it can quite the exercise.

3. A chore a lot of people hate, but you don't mind or tolerate doing?

Taking out trash or cleaning toilets. I wouldn't call it "pleasant" especially if upkeep isn't maintained routinely, but I generally don't mind doing this sort of thing.

This. I forgot about dusting because I hate it so much, I don't consider it a chore. I consider it torture.

Oh I don't like cleaning them either, but it's not the worst to me XD It just takes so much time and elbow grease though.

I can't read all the way up the sides, so I end up standing on the ledge, reaching to scrub, slipping off, catching myself on the wall and landing in the tub, climbing back up, scrubbing a little more, falling... repeat until it's clean.

It's easy? I find it crazily time consuming especially since I have tiny cute things I can't use the vacuum on XD But I have indoor allergies so I have to vaccum, wipe off, and get rid of the dust so I'll feel better.

We have dog hair and sand, and so it seems like I have to dust the same spot for like 20 minutes to get it all off. As soon as I finish and move on to the next spot, it gets covered again

Awwww well that is no good! Most of the baths I've clean aren't too tall/big, but I'm fairly tall too. Maybe you could use a step ladder or step stool in the tub? Have a bath matt underneath so the step won't slip.

If I dust, I make sure it either ends up in a vacuum or on a wet paper towel/cloth towel so it doesn't go back. I also use air purifiers now... it helps a LOT.

And I'm fairly short.

The one chore I have been putting off for three days now is cleaning up that worm over there in front of the rocking chair. One of the dogs brought it in. It's dead. I can't handle worms. Nope. They are evil. As evil as snakes. Nope. I can't do it. I'd rather gingerly step around it than clean it up.

1.) Washing dishes/folding clothes. Im more likely to throw away dishes than wash them. (Unless they just need to be placed in the dish washer) Folding clothes seems like such a waste of time.... so instead, now I just hang them.
2.) Washing clothes.... the machine does most of the work. All I do is dump clothes in, add soap and softener..... then I wait and throw them in the drier.
3.) Taking out the trash...... although I don't mind it cause I always do it after work while Im dressed and sweaty anyway.

1. Mowing the lawn, and particularly having to cut back tree branches that grow into our yard from the neighbors' side. I've hated doing it since I was a kid. The only time I somewhat looked forward to it was when I was paid for it as a summer job.

2. I don't really find any of it relaxing, or enjoyable. If we're talking about something routine, but not necessarily about a clean house, I guess I could count compiling the media toolchain on my computer. Redoing it completely happens whenever the newest stable version of GCC is released (read: every 4-6 months or so), while otherwise I do the important pieces every couple of weeks for routine updates. It's more about the feeling of accomplishment than anything else. *shrug*

3. Dishes, laundry.

I hate vacuuming, with a passion known only as the hatred borne by a million souls in the bowels of the abysses of the 9th circle of Dante's Hell. This hatred, however, pales in comparison to that which I hold for ironing clothes. I will begrudgingly vacuum, but I would rather cut off my arms than iron anything.

I really don't mind laundry. It's very simple, and it doesn't take much attention, except for the buzzer at the end of each load. The folding's the hardest part, and that I don't do a whole lot of.

I suppose a lot of people dislike doing the dishes, but I don't mind them.
