Seeing that we are on the subject of using the threat of eternal damnation and hell to turn sinners back to God, can I ask you if you have visited my thread on Armageddon? http://www.christianforums.com/t7828944/ I am respectful of your SSPX but I was wondering what your thoughts were?

Michael rises up in a time of the worst wickedness of human kinds existence on earth. Michael and his angels, fight in conjunction with our King, Jesus, along with Mary and God the Father, to turn it all around into a peaceful, prosperous Catholic society of people bountiful in gifts of love for God through obedience and prayer, in the restored Kingdom Come of Zion. So how does this all happen?

Well Michael, whether he is a pope or not, and a pope call all Catholics to prepare themselves by washing themselves in the blood of the Lamb which would be the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Baptism. Then they have Catholics go into their homes with their Holy candles and Holy water to prepare for the three days of darkness. Then the Pope reads the Armageddon Scroll which is a list of world wide auto-anathemas. The reading of the list is what separates the faithful into new born Zion and hurls the wicked into hell. Most scripture indicates it only takes about an hour to read. During the three days of darkness, Jesus blows through and puts many of the unrepentant wicked to death.

After the three days of darkness, the faithful emerge into a whole new heaven and earth. The Catholic Church is the New Jerusalem. Jesus will bond Himself to His Church in a new and spiritual way; The Wedding Day of the Lamb. Jesus will pour out massive miracles, signs and wonders upon Zion, where He will reside, spiritually. Zion will be the Post Armageddon Catholic Church. The survivors of the world will see Jesus, shining His Light to the Nations, through His Church and stream to her, through Zion's gates, which are the Sacraments of Baptism and Reconciliation, to be with Jesus.

No longer will there be any gray area. The walls of Zion will be the auto-anathemas put into enforcement by Michael and his angels, and managed by Catholic clergy for millenniums to come. The auto-anathemas will hurl any evil doer who breaks one, out of Zion. The way back into Zion will be through Zion's gates again, the Sacrament of Reconciliation. So what you will have is a definite wall of auto-anathemas separating the Elect, living in Zion with Jesus, and those living outside Zion's walls, in spiritual death. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on" And Scripture indicates that Messianic Reign works, and works well, on free willed earth, for tens of thousands of years.

I mention it because you are talking of using the threat of hell and damnation to convert sinners. Well that, along with massive miracles in Zion poured out by our King Jesus, is exactly what makes Messianic Reign work so well. Though Jesus will not be here as an individual, people of post Armageddon times are going to know, with out a doubt, just Who their new King is. Jesus will shine His light to the nations through His Church, the Catholic Church, through massive miracles, signs and wonders.

The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned (up) with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. Note that if we are going to press this parable to answer that sort of question one must end up concluding not that people choose the wrong path but are unable to find the right one.

You are more well read than I am on this topic. I do believe we will experience a terrible chastisement in the coming years. There have been many prophecies of 3 days of darkness, so I do believe that will happen.

I can't comment on the specifics, because as I said, you are more well read than I am.

I think God will ultimately look after the good and punish the wicked. The temporal chastisement, as terrible as it will be, will be merciful in that it will wake people up and give them a chance to repent.

I do believe after the chastisement there will be a great reign where everyone will be Catholic and honor Jesus Christ as King.

You are more well read than I am on this topic. I do believe we will experience a terrible chastisement in the coming years. There have been many prophecies of 3 days of darkness, so I do believe that will happen.

I am not trying to overpower you with quotes or thoughts. I like your posts as I can see that you are far from being a 'universal salvation', Jesus loves and forgives all 'unconditionally', kind of Catholic. This is the way I am and the way Jesus is. Jesus love us all. Jesus also damns many, as it seems, a good majority of people, to hell. Our job, like John the Baptist, like Jesus, and all Christ's disciples, is to warn people of impending disaster and bring as many as possible back to Christ's ways, for salvation into eternal life, through Jesus.

I have spent decades, with the help of computer bible search software, and reading the bible many times, to coagulate and prioritize great numbers of scriptural verses, which talk about the same thing, into chapters of my I Love You, God! the result is that 70-90% of any chapter is simply quotes from the Bible that are gathered together in streams or in groups to let the reader actually use the scripture, rather than me, to decipher what is being communicated from God. So what I am trying to say is I would be humbly honored to have you visit my site and share with me your thoughts, here at OBOB, on any topic of the apocalypse or elsewhere in the bible.

...The hour of My coming is near! But I will show mercy. A most dreadful punishment will bear witness to the times. My angels, who are to be the executioners of this work, are ready with their pointed swords! They will take special care to annihilate all those who mocked Me and would not believe in My revelations...

...Those who hope in Me, and believe in my words, have nothing to fear because I will not forsake them, nor those who spread My message. No harm will come to those who are in the state of grace and who seek My mother's protection...

Those who disregard this advice will be killed instantly. The wind will carry with it poisonous gases which will be diffused over the entire earth. Those who suffer and die innocently will be martyrs and they will be with Me in My Kingdom.

We can see St. Padre Pio's warning in Isaiah 26, 'Go, my people, enter your chambers, and close the doors behind you; Hide yourselves for a brief moment, until the wrath is past. See, the LORD goes forth from his place, to punish the wickedness of the earth’s inhabitants'. Isaiah 26 is about the deliverance of Israel. We can see Isaiah referring to Jesus as coming to deliver Israel in the leveling of the mountains 'He humbles those who dwell on high, the lofty city he brings down, Brings it down to the ground, levels it to the dust'. It is Jesus who levels the mountains and builds up the valleys, when He comes to Rule, which is the restoration of Israel.

NAB ISA 26 Judah’s Praise and Prayer for Deliverance.

On that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judah: “A strong city have we; he sets up victory as our walls and ramparts. Open up the gates that a righteous nation may enter, one that keeps faith. With firm purpose you maintain peace; in peace, because of our trust in you.” Trust in the LORD forever! For the LORD is an eternal Rock. He humbles those who dwell on high, the lofty city he brings down, Brings it down to the ground, levels it to the dust. The feet of the needy trample on it— the feet of the poor. The way of the just is smooth; the path of the just you make level...

NAB2 LUK 3:4 (John the Baptist is speaking)

‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The winding roads shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’...
His winnowing fan is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” Exhorting them in many other ways, he preached good news to the people.

Go, my people, enter your chambers, and close the doors behind you; Hide yourselves for a brief moment, until the wrath is past.
