I see people praising Blue's arguments, but here's what I see, just in his opening statement. He dictates to the Almighty what His Word should look like.

Our species has always missed the visitation of the Divine by Him appearing in some way we did not expect. Those that cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and Blue fits that mold here.

Going on:

1) It does indeed transcend the culture in which it was written.
2) If the text never held contradictions we would not be challenged to determine what is right on our own. This would defeat a primary purpose of communication from the Divine.
3) "Accurate in its factual details?" Well, what if the context is a moralistic story? Blue is apparently unaware of the 3 most important things when considering any text: context, context, and ... context.
4) The portrayal of the Divine. Well, if Blue sees that as immature and petty I don't know what Bible he is reading. Either that or he is missing a lot, and debate will not cure that.
5) The text should represent the best humanity can aspire to. Well the text does much more than that. It covers the whole gamut of human emotion, potential, and literature. And the focus throughout, and final culmination, is Christ. Does Blue know Christ? If not I fail to see how he might be able to comment on any of this. Then again I don't debate, I just call em like I see em.

Tyre probably taken by Canannites for it's first political destruction years before that event and filth spread around the Mediterranean by them and it is what links Egypt and Tyre forever. Stuff you don't understand and will never be explained if left to scientism..

Isaiah 23 is about the the destruction of Tyre you speak of.
So it barren only 70 years... then it goes back to whoring. he also hints at a future event that is one of total devastation..." my bones my bones" is about some horrific thing man does to himself.... by some act of betrayal. probably blaming someone who didn't do it.

Both of these men's prophecy speaks of a future total destruction event ( which has not happened at that point.. or up to now ). which leaves the prophecy open and yet to be fulfilled in full. with two witnesses and 2 partial fulfillment's , sir it IS going to happen...maybe you can take notes when it does.

Tyre was prophesied to be utterly destroyed. It wasn't, and it is currently a nice tourist town. You seem to think Isaiah and Ezekiel were prophesying about events at least three-thousand years in the future; this does not appear to be the case given their contexts, but you are free to that opinion. Matthew does error on the translation, thus resulting in that gospel not saying what the other gospels do. I live in Southeastern Tennessee, so I'm not sure I qualify as "city people." Even if I did, facts are facts regardless.

the Living bible or some other version ? because you or someone doing the translation got that wrong.... someone didn't know what a donkey's colt was.
it is an untrained male foal of a donkey or horse.

So Jesus was riding an untrained male donkey.. the choice Jesus is presented is that God must break the stubborn donkeys neck ( which he did try for a very long time) or offer a lamb for it's redemption..

... it had to be exactly that to say what he needed to say to them and fulfill the prophecies.

Tyrus is a people/ a clan/ a tribe / nation with many city states and lands...Of sea going people......Tyrus is not just one city. ISAIAH speaks of o the destruction you all speak of. and like it says in Isaiah the daughters of know He is God.

Tyrus is so gone you don't even know it ever existed..

the destruction of Tyre may still come if Is. 24 is about it being betrayed. but Is 24 can be about alot of things which could happen yet or did happen .

as far as the total destruction of Tyrus...it is so gone your religion doesn't even know it ever existed. God is never wrong!
