A) Virtually non-existent. I've known a few people who've been known to smoke pot recreationally, but I've never tried it myself.
I once ate some psilocybe mushrooms in the Netherlands, where they are quasi-legal, and found it to be a very enriching and deeply spiritually/psychologically meaningful experience, but I've got no desire to repeat this on a regular basis, let alone use these mushrooms as a sort of consumerist "party drug".

B) No. I engaged in some unhealthy binge drinking with my friends during my late teens, but never to the point where I was hooked and couldn't stop, and I haven't perceived wasting myself as a worthwhile recreational activity for more than a decade now.

C) I've got no idea whatsoever. There was a time when people were considering using psychedelic substances to advance therapies for mental health patients, but given that these substances inevitably confront you with the very stuff that made you sick to begin with, that wasn't such a great idea. It's like putting an arachnophobe in a huge box of spiders and telling him: "Deal with it. There's nothing to be afraid of."

LSD therapy seemed to help this one lady out. she basically had a spiritual experience. it changed her, I could tell. but you don't need drugs to get this change. depending on drugs to be happy is a huge crutch but most people don't seem to know how to be happy and then they get hooked on them and things often fall apart. just my personal experience and from observing numerous family members interacting with drugs. even a thing like weed I would not mind so much, but people end up depending so much on it that they may never truly develop how to be happy without any drug use at all. it really is a shame because they are so much better than having to depend on something to be happy.

Well, about psychedelics and psychotherapy:

I'm sure there are people who'd pull through the trauma of being locked in the spider-box and come out of it having lost their irrational fear - but there'll also be lots of people who'll emerge as gibbering wrecks.

A) What is your experience with drugs and drug culture?
It's pretty limited to what I've seen on TV...and since I don't really watch that much TV...

B) Have you ever had an addiction?
Can't say that I have.

C) Is it approved to use MDMA-Ecstasy in Therapy sessions?
I have no idea.

Or give input on whether you don't use drugs at all (Are clean and sober) or whether you have experience with drug use.
I don't even like to take Tylenol. I would occasionally have a little more alcohol than I probably should have back in my college days but no where near dangerous levels and since it was only in dorms within walking distance of each other, there was never any driving involved.

A) What is your experience with drugs and drug culture?
My uncle used drugs which were the ultimate cause behind his death. He was clean at the time but had done too much damage.
B) Have you ever had an addiction?
Not to drugs.
C) Is it approved to use MDMA-Ecstasy in Therapy sessions?
Sorry, no idea.
Or give input on whether you don't use drugs at all (Are clean and sober) or whether you have experience with drug use.

I only take OTC stuff or stuff prescribed to me by a doctor.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that, taking it almost for granted.

I don't drink and drive. Ever. Even within legal limits.
Comparatively small doses of alcohol can already inhibit your risk-assessment, and encourage you to be more daring than you normally would be.

A. Smoked pot almost everyday in high school. Smoked it pretty regularly until I met my wife and then layed off. Now I rarely if ever smoke it. Probably less then 10 times in 5 years. Did a lot of mushrooms at one point too.

B. The pot is a hard one as it's more of a mental then physical thing. I wouldn't miss it if I didn't smoke it. When I quit it wasn't a big deal. Mushrooms were more an experience every so often so you couldn't really get addicted IMO.

C. No clue.

A) What is your experience with drugs and drug culture?

Not much. For a couple of years I would often take LSD or smoke marijuana when I visited a friend who was into that. I hated the way I felt when I took drugs, and they never gave me any interesting hallucinations or enlightening experiences. I tried MDMA once and felt nothing at all. (Probably the chemistry in my brain is screwy. :) )

More recently I've seen a few coworkers struggle with life-long addictions to things like meth, crack, xanax, vicodine, etc. Drugs are awful IMO.

B) Have you ever had an addiction?

Not to drugs, but I was addicted to alcohol. I was self medicating for depression. That was horrible. Now I don't drink.

C) Is it approved to use MDMA-Ecstasy in Therapy sessions?

I don't know.

I'm an old Hippie Love child of the sixties. Use your imagination of what a stereotypical Dead Head is to you and you'll pretty much know the history of my youth.

I've never been addicted to anything other than to Bear Claws, Coffee, Reading and working in my Garden.

A. Weed on occasion and psilocybin mushrooms once in a rare while. Many of my co-workers are semi-regular herb smokers.

B. No.

C. I'm not sure what you're asking. Is it LEGAL to use it in therapy? I don't know, I think that's a Google question.

The question of whether MDMA tablets can be used in a Therapy session depends on the Therapist and experience in working with counseling people. MDMA-Ecstasy is supposed to help your deal with your emotions and help you "open up to the world" with your spouse. It also depends on whether the guy will synthesize it or not. There is more information about it but it is rare that therapist will provide the drug to the patient for a counseling session.

Heroin, oxycodone, coke, amphetamine (although it is given for my ADHD), xanax, alcohol cigarettes and weed. little contact with other users, i mostly keep to myself besides a couple friends.

The only mental dependence i developed was for oxycodone which i prefer to the hardcore opiate heroin simply because i am not sedated while taking pills. cocaine was simply a couple experiments. I accidentally gained a physical dependance to xanax to counter the side effects of my adhd medication but instead i found out how horribly bad xanax dependence is on your mind/body that i am still trying to wean myself from almost a year later. the others i use and have no problems with addictions to them and they mostly serve as a replacement for opium which i have almost no self control in my use. lesser of the two evils i guess.

as far as i know it isn't. although i do know it has been used for that purpose and was seemingly overwhelmingly successful. however research stopped and if i remember right was declared schedule 1 in spite of documented medical benefits. it seemed to be quite adept at treating PTSD (in conjunction with therapy) and that alone would justify legal medical use in my opinion.

Haha, I don't either..
A) What is your experience with drugs and drug culture?
I started with Ecstacy in college. I absolutely loved it, and that caused me to question my sense of right and wrong, seriously. Looking back, it was my introduction into the drug culture that was the catalyst for all of the doubts of my faith and exploration of other things that I now regret - and still I wish it were possible to experience that again with no repercussions. Besides the Ecstacy I also experimented with pretty much everything except PCP and heroin. Gave all of that up when I got married and moved to another state. Glad I did, for the most part, like I said.

B) Have you ever had an addiction?
Cigarettes, particularly clove cigarettes. I was able to give that up because it became clear to me that in order to afford the payments on my pickup truck, I would have to. After giving it up and going through all the withdrawal, I have not desired to go back to that. Blech.

C) Is it approved to use MDMA-Ecstasy in Therapy sessions?
It used to be legal, in the late seventies, early eighties, I believe, and the first Ecstasy I had was supposedly left-over pharmaceutical grade stuff. Over the years the dosage got smaller, the drug was more commonly cut with something else (often speed), and the price stayed the same. Honestly that helped me quit, but wow that early stuff was amazing.

I am fully back in my Christianity now, I am a missionary, and I am drug-free, but it would be dishonest of me to say that my experimenting was not fun. It was great fun - but seriously detrimental to my mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

I smoked weed on a few occasions in school, but other than that I haven't done anything.

I've never been addicted to drugs. I smoked for a while but just quit overnight and didn't find it remotely difficult, so I suppose I'm fortunate in that regard.

How did ecstasy cause you to question your sense of right and wrong?

A) What is your experience with drugs and drug culture?

Let me give you the list of what I haven't done, because it's shorter:

Peyote
Ayahuasca
DMT

...yeah, other than that, I've done everything known to man since the 1500s. I don't like marijuana. The sensation isn't pleasant to me.

B) Have you ever had an addiction?

I have a uniquely non-addictive personality. I still have an oral fixation from smoking, though, so I'm usually sucking on a mint or something. Smoking was the closest to a real addiction I ever had, but even that was easily quit.

C) Is it approved to use MDMA-Ecstasy in Therapy sessions?

By the FDA? No. Do I personally think it would be a good idea? Yes. Seriously, for me, psychotropics were always more of a form of therapy than "let me get high." It made me horrible to be around, because I'd want to analyze my entire life. ;)
