Semitic people are Caucasoid, mostly white, in other words.
From "thefreedictionary.com" defining "Semite"

Semite [ˈsiːmaɪt] less commonly, Shemite
n
1. (Social Science / Peoples) a member of the group of Caucasoid peoples who speak a Semitic language, including the Jews and Arabs as well as the ancient Babylonians, Assyrians, and Phoenicians
2. (Social Science / Peoples) another word for a Jew [from New Latin sēmīta descendant of Shem, via Greek Sēm, from Hebrew Shem]
That said, I'll repeat what has undoubtedly been said several times elsewhere on the thread (I've not got the time nor patience to review each post): Megyn Kelly did not say "Santa and Jesus are white." She said both are perceived culturally in the U.S. as being white. There is a huge difference in those two statements, and those quick to condemn FNC tend to want to believe she said the first. She did not.

She said definitively, both Jesus and Santa are white.

She sounds like a silly woman. Santa isn't real- who cares what colour he is? He's depicted as white in the West because whites are overwhelmingly the dominant ethnic group in the West.

As for Jesus, He was a Palestinians, and wouldn't have looked too different from todays Arab Palestinians in terms of his skin tone, beard and hair. He's portrayed as white in today's West again, because Westerners tend to be white. But go to Beijing and Jesus is portrayed as Chinese, go to Ethiopia and you'll see an African looking Jesus, or go to Mexico and you'll see a Mestizo looking Jesus.

No matter how many times you repeat an inaccurate statement, it is still an inaccurate statement. I watched the clip several times. She said, without hesitation that Jesus is white. Go back and look at the clip again and listen closely. She has not denied saying it, either. She later said His whiteness is "far from settled".

LOL, no. She said Santa is white and Jesus is white. She didn't say anything about culturally, she said they are white.
No, she definitely included the statement about culture. Her initial comment was flippant, which anyone with a sense of humor could see, then she went on to explain that culturally, this is how both figures have been seen.

She said definitively, both Jesus and Santa are white.
And again, within the context of the cultural application.

She sounds like a silly woman.
Perhaps you should watch her show before making that judgment. In reality, Megyn Kelly is one of the most intelligent, well-informed news anchors on the television, and is very thorough in her research.

Santa isn't real- who cares what colour he is?
The comments were all in the context of discussing a rant a black woman put up on the web in which she referred to this fictional elf as a "melatonin deficient" and an "old, fat white guy." Does that help with understanding why the points were brought up on her show originally?

He's depicted as white in the West because whites are overwhelmingly the dominant ethnic group in the West.
He's depicted as white because the inspiration for him was a real "white guy," St. Nicholas, who lived from 280-363 AD.

As for Jesus, He was a Palestinians, and wouldn't have looked too different from todays Arab Palestinians in terms of his skin tone, beard and hair.
Which is to say they are Caucasian with darker skin from melatonin production. Thanks for establishing that for us.

No matter how many times you repeat an inaccurate statement, it is still an inaccurate statement. I watched the clip several times. She said, without hesitation that Jesus is white.
Yes, with the aforementioned cultural context.

Caucasoid is suppossd to be a scientific anthropological term whereas White is more of a culturaly constructed catagory. Middle Eastern Semites may be caucasoid but they are generaly not considered "white". I've never seen an Arab call themselves "white" for example. If you point to an Arab girl and ask the average euro American "I didn't get a close look was that a white girl" chances are the will say " no she was an Arab girl."

Just to be clear, are you referring to this 'flippant' statement?

"Just because it makes you feel uncomfortable doesn’t mean it has to change. You know, I mean, Jesus was a white man too. He was a historical figure; that’s a verifiable fact – as is Santa, I want you kids watching to know that."

Except, Nikolaos wasn't "white" (as in: European white), either. He was Greek, so definitely "darker" than your average Brit (or Dane, for that matter)

White privilege is so entertaining, especially when you see it in action, and the actor has no idea. If I wasn't told differently, I would think it is 1953 in the States.

'White privilege' is a leukophobic hate term.

When did Leukophobia become synonymous with Truth?

I am certainly not scared of white [people], so I am not leukophobic. Sometimes, actually most times, the truth does not need to induce fear.

Do you wake up worrying about whether or not a person who beat their spouse will call the cops and say 4 black men beat their wife - and the cops buy it no question? Do you have to worry about being stopped and frisked while walking to class in Harlem? Let's not play the "phobia" game, because there is a wall of text that can be produce to smash that theory to dust. Just say you don't believe in white privilege, dont insult the collective intelligence of this thread by claiming the phrase is a phobic term.

It's called confirmation bias bro. You get used to it after a while...

If you're willing to say that f*ggot (only written for sense of clarification, mods!) isn't a "homophobic" term.
Otherwise, you're full of it, and hypocritical

Strawman. How did we get to homosexuality? More deflection? Maybe you are full it.

Do you think every person that says that word fears homosexuals? Do you know what a phobia is? Is someone who is agoraphobic literally anxious and panicky when they are in open spaces, or do they just have intellectual discomfort?

So, no, I will say someone who uses that word is not homophobic. They are ignorant and bigoted. If the person said that word, then cowered in fear at the sight of the homosexual (or even actually showed a bit of fear or discomfort,) then maybe I would say it was homophobic. But, I don't just throw words around without proper context and diction.

What kind of politically correct, liberal president would have a black Santa?

Yes, with the aforementioned cultural context.

That is quite a stretch given she backed off her statement that Jesus is white, while she did not do so for the Santa statement.

So you're one of the few liberals who actually know what words mean.
Kudos!
But my point remains: If the word I used is "ignorant and bigoted", then the same applies the other way around.

Doesn't have to mean fear.

No, but I have to worry about being the target of the Knockout Game on my way to work in Chicago. I have to thank God that my little sister came so close to but didn't get caught in a race riot in Milwaukee --the one that inspired the title of the book "White Girl Bleed a Lot". I also have to live with the fact that my late dad was passed over for a promotion where he was, quite literally twice as qualified as the other candidate, but the Post Office had quotas to fill so it went to the less qualified black woman. I also have to stop and consider that if I am a victim of an assault by a black man, that I can be cast as the villain by the Mainstream Media, and have to go into hiding. I also have to live in a country where one of the two dominant political parties has anti-white racism written right into its official platform. I have to live in a nation where you can be openly racist against whites and be elected president because of your skin color.
