Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day. Rather, honoring the Lord’s Day. But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be anathema (against) from Christ”.

You know, Constantine is before Roman Catholic time... But Constantine did give power to the Roman Catholic religion. The actions of Constantine in the formation of and forced participation of people into the Roman Catholic Church.

Interesting that this creed forbids everything Jewish when there are scriptures wherein Jesus forbid the apostles to take anything of his teaching to the Gentiles.
Maybe this was Constantine;s revenge?

This is one of the reasons we(non Christian Jews) find it so hilarious that the same Messianic Judaism that wants to consider itself part of Judaism, yet it clings to Nicene Creed(and its patron) and the other Jew haters who created it. Sad.

Actually, it does say that, if we understand that Yeshua could NOT have taken this creed or stood by the Canons.... I.e., If He had taken these, He would have been condemned to hell by them!

Jews do not believe Yeshua is the Messiah (those who do we could say are now Christian for all intents and purposes). Yeshua Himself condemned Jewish leaders for their unbelief. I believe this was written for early Jewish converts to warn them not to continue dwelling with those who do no not believe in Yeshua, that might influence them to renounce their faith in Yeshua. The two were not entirely separate in the centuries after the resurrection and there was much animosity between the two especially after 135 AD when Jewish Christians refused to fight under Bar Kokba.

Anti-semitism is quite different than being anti-Judaism. Anti-Semitism is hatred of a race of people. Being "anti-Judaism" is just that. If you believe Yeshua is the Moshiach and you are Jewish, you are a Christian by faith. Ask any Jew who practices Rabbinic Judaism as we know it today and they will tell you that. There is being Jewish by race and there is being Jewish by faith/religion. Yeshua said there are Jews who say they are Jews and are not. We have our father Abraham...John 8:38-59. this in and of itself should show you the great divide that was to occur...

The problem is just as bad today. If you are Jewish by birth but believe that Yeshua is Moshiach, Jews will not accept you and gentile Christians will call you a "Judaizer". Some have been disowned by their own families! I tend to go to Matthew 5:11-12...
