Two of the activities listed have to do with what consenting adults do. You'll need to do a lot more to prove public opinion is shifting to allow pedophilia, which I don't think you could even begin to really hint at.

I think perhaps people get in a snit because he says that pretty much everyone sexualizes children, as it has become part of our culture, and that we hypocritically go after child molesters - that we are inconsistent in our treatment of children and perhaps in a way intended to keep us from being really reflective.

And, just as he points out, people become incredibly hysterical about the whole discussion.

Kincaid is an American academic whose studies into the sexualization of children have led him to the conclusion that all adults are secretly sexually attracted to children but use revulsion at the actions of overt pedophiles to hide their inner feelings.


"If the child is desirable, then to desire it can hardly be freakish,” Kincaid wrote in his book Child-Loving: The Erotic Child and Victorian Culture. "To maintain otherwise is to put into operation pretty hefty engines of denial and self-deception."

It all boils down to, this guy is a whack job. And pedophilia can be talked about by whacks that are sexually attracted to children, but the legal fact of consent is what keeps the pervs on the outcast radar and subject to prosecution for crossing the line when putting their sick desires into physical action.

I just really don't believe that it will be something seen as ok ever. Everything you'd talked about here, save abortion which is a entire universe of discussion, is about what consenting adults do.

I do feel sorry for pedophiles. I don't honestly believe it is their wish to be attracted to children. I think that those that recognize this attraction and are able to refrain from harming a child deserve praise. But I will never believe that it will ever be ok to have sex with a child. I just see that on a completely different level than everything else described such as homosexuality and transgender.

Look at it this way: Do you remember how immensely popular "To Catch A Predator" was less than a decade ago? What has changed in the culture that would make it so people would be more accepting of that behavior?

I believe the push for pedophilia comes from the religion of modern liberalism. Modern liberalism is the new religion slated to replace Christianity. It's already replacing Christianity in the United States and Western Europe. Their current culture and economic condition are proof of this.

Modern liberalism is the complete opposite of Christianity:

Christianity promotes the Ten Commandments and the Two Great Commandments; modern liberalism promotes moral relativism and "If it feels good, do it."

Christianity promotes the idea that God judges people individually; modern liberalism promotes the idea that people are one large mass of ignoramuses to be molded by the dictator.

Christianity promotes the idea of free will among people; modern liberalism promotes the enslavement of people, where the government makes all the choices for them.

Christianity promotes the worship of God; modern liberalism promotes atheism and the worship of the dictator.

Christianity glorifies and elevates good over evil; modern liberalism glorifies and elevates evil over good.

Christian principles made the United States a great nation; modern liberal principles led to Nazi concentration camps.

Christian principles encourage people to be hard-working and energetic; modern liberal principles encourage a shiftless welfare state.

Christian principles encourage self-control in all areas of life, including finances; modern liberal principles encourage out-of-control runaway overspending to the point of deliberately collapsing a country's economy.

Given the above comparison, it would seem that most sane people would embrace Christianity and reject modern liberalism. But, instead, the reverse appears to be true, especially in the United States and Western Europe. Why is this happening? Are the majority of people actually voting for modern liberalism or is there something else going on?
