Who's laughing? Nobody wants to speculate on his personal foibles is all. Nobody knows for sure if he even has a problem.
What's to accomplish here yakking about it?
You read it? Must be true then. Since there is no such thing as partisan reporting on both sides. You let his family, co-workers, & superiors worry about it.Actually, it's already been explained several times that there's more than enough evidence that he has an alcohol problem and that it's affecting his ability to conduct his office as Speaker of the House, third in line from the President of the United States, the most powerful nation in the world.
He is in over his head, and proves it every time he speaks or acts. I was opposed to him and his policies when he ran for the senate. He didn't deserve that position let alone the White House.(Actually, I think Obama would work out quite well as a professor of liberal politics at an eastern community college somewhere; anything above that, and he's in over his head. He certainly doesn't have the temperament or qualifications or experience needed to be president of the United States, and that's fer dern sure.)

I think he can act just as stupidly without alcohol as with.I agree.
I don't think there is any definitive proof except 'The National Equirer' gossipy sources dishing the dirt.Look I don't get why everyone is such up in arms about this.
This is the worst kept secret in Washington.
John Boehner is a high functioning alcoholic. He's said to be drunk everyday by 5 pm.
Which means he starts drinking at lunch.
Which means he's manipulable by about 3.
Which means he's not really capable of running one half of one third of the branches of goverment.
Right now he's the most important guy in the world.
and he's drunk
by
5 pm
every day.
and somehow this is none of our business ?

Have definitive proof?
No. I can't really watch videos because I'm not on high speed.Have you watched any of the YT videos where he's speaking in his condition?
As an absentee voter I'll offer that that is none of your business.
And it has not a thing to do with Boehner's fitness as Speaker or his alleged alcoholism.
And while nothing shall be hid on That Day, what is revealed shall be to God alone. Which means it won't be your business then either.
No. I can't really watch videos because I'm not on high speed.
My point is...unless there is definitive proof any of this is true & it is affecting his job...what purpose does it serve? Just seems like mean spirited gossip to me.
I would say not fulfilling is obligations. Stumbling drunk in public. Things like that. Not the political grapevine which we all know is tainted beyond repair. I'm talking current actions. Not past actions. What is your definition of "definitive" ?
Google "john beohner drinking problem"
You'll get pages of articles on the subject, a DUI arrest in 2011 no one seems to know about and an ethics committee investigation request for 2012 suggesting that beohner's drinking is effecting his ability to lead the house.
I mean, seriously, short of living with the guy and documenting his alochol intake what do we need to meet "definitive" ?
