would you elaborate? Thank you kindly.
Would you like to hear an honest sight? Short version:
Any believer in whom God has gifted honesty should quickly discover that they do not always, only and ever execute the dictates of Jesus in Matt. 25, that being:
35 For I was an
hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was
a stranger, and ye took me in:
36
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was
sick, and ye visited me: I was
in prison, and ye came unto me.
Is Jesus in all of that? Yes.
He still SUFFERS.
Isaiah 53:4
Surely
he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isaiah 63:9
In all
their affliction he was afflicted,
To show that Jesus, our High Priest
is still TOUCHED by our infirmities:
Hebrews 4:15
For
we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
In light of the facts, there is no doubt that Jesus Is still being TOUCHED in these matters. Just as our own good conscience still TOUCHES US when we see and in particular REACT to the above. That is in fact GOD IN US reacting.
but as stated, we do not always and only perform the sheep works.
and when we don't we are also doing, factually by NOT doing, we are in fact DOING GOAT WORKS.
This is the hardest part to understand.
Few who read will read honestly.
There is no pure sheep who have always and only done SHEEP WORKS. Anyone who tells themselves that is merely lying to themselves and is in fact A BLATANT LIAR.
Anyone who has ever worked with those in the conditions above have only one TRUE answer and that is always, from what I have both heard and experienced,
"I have NEVER done enough."
These would be people who are actually DOING the sheepworks making an honest statement.
but the fact remains that when any of us DON'T we are in fact doing goat works.
Do the math from there Brinny. It is an interesting scripture set. One I read as a blindman for many years after believing.
God is gracious to the BLIND.
