  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's what they're trained to ask for.

They probably paid good money to get where they are today, and the Bible says ...

Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

For those who don't have a higher education, but believe what the "educated" say, I applaud their faith, but they are wrong.

That is true. What do you think about all creation being puppets? Do you think it would be obvious they need a hand? LOL

I dont look at evolution for the origin of life, just as a way the God decided to let life change after He created it.

I firmly do not believe in the non-religious Big Bang, nor in the "spontaneous cumbustion" origin of life explanation.

So would your world have a gender?

And if they weren't "gullible"? same thing?

If a loquacious serpent came to me and felt overly compelled to make me eat of a tree which god forbid I would not do so. I actually went through my entire life doing my utmost best to respect every rule provided.

My years as a youth were beyond miserable for this.
So if Adam and Eve were not naive and gullible then the ostracization from Eden would have never occurred.

Aha! Now I know how to put 10[sup]50[/sup] into a sentence.
I tried the mathematical approach as well.

I think someone stated that math does not fit in with evolution or something along those lines.
Usually you can tell when you make a good point.

The reply will be quick and sterile, no matter how deep the theology.

And ABOVE ALL, pay close attention to their word choices.

That will give them almost as quickly as Arab phoning your words.
Or they will say that the start of life is not part of evolution theory.
Yes, that is correct.

Abiogenesis is no longer a part of the evolution equation.

Had I factored abiogenesis into the equation, then I'm sure the odds would be even higher.

Yes my world would have gender. I cant imagine a world where nothing dies. Accidents could alway happen even if people or animals could live forever, so some mechanism should be made to keep the species going.

?? I am referring to your comments about Yahweh being omniscient. My world would not have any such mythology involving serpents and naive children.

My world is grounded in the world we have now and no such thing as vocal serpents exist or ever have.

But your world can have that. Do you want magical snakes that talk in your world? The bible had a beast of the field that talked. You can use snakes if you prefer.

Claims must be backed up by real evidence.
Not if you take them on faith.

Else everyone would be asking for DNA evidence from their parents.
If you don't want to be laughed at I would suggest that you avoid creationist sties that are well know for their lying.
Laugh away.

Jesus didn't go there, and He got laughed at.

Luke 8:53a And they laughed him to scorn,

My answers arent for "they", my answers are for me. Since I believe God created everything, then my answers will explain that belief of mine.

So would you world have believers? And if so what would they believe or be called?

My world would have "accepters".

If somebody made a very good case for a claim then the people would accept it. That means that if it was later found to be in error, or more likely somewhat in error, they would not have an artificial attachment to the idea.

For example scientists accept the theory of evolution since the evidence for it is truly massive and the evidence for anything else seems to be nil.

I asked but they wouldnt provide it. I was desperate to prove that I was adopted. ;)

(That whole statement above was a sin to some and a joke to others)

faith is synonymous for being gullible. And using a book of myth makes for terrible arguing.

Answer #2: Brainwashed humans, akin to the puppet master answer.
