I'll take "C14 dating is based on untested assumptions"

I'll buzz that in and select "What is also based on theories about the weak force shown to be wrong 40+ years ago"

Yes, but people needed to see Noah's faith.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
What faith? Did not God speak directly to Noah and his sons? Why could God not speak to everyone?
Otherwise, just traipsing around the countryside preaching righteousness and coming judgment would not have been as effective.
Jesus heard that.

Why could God not speak to everyone?
Like He did here?

John 12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
John 12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

Don't forget: he preached for 120 years.

120 years of telling people the world was going to end. No wonder; experience tends to work against doomsayers -- the longer you're at it, the less likely you are to have an impact.

But let's not forget God's omniscient plan -- was anything Noah could've said going to make any difference?

Don't forget: he preached for 120 years.

All the while getting materials for and building an impossibly large vessel, as well as gathering the animals that would be aboard that vessel. There were certainly a considerable number of people who never saw or even heard of Noah. How far did Noah travel during his preaching?

No, before the flood. So Noah didn't have to do that make-work project. And God would not have to drown all those families, babies and pregnant mothers.

But it did make for fun theme for toys!

Still no word on the "drowning children" figures. :(

All he needed was gopher wood and pitch; and the animals came to him.

Genesis 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

Does that include Patagonian slugs? There was a lot of desert and ocean to cross.

A lot of gopher wood, which he had to cut himself, and a lot of pitch, which he had to collect himself. 120 years is a pretty long time, and would probably give him enough time to build the ark, but to preach to everyone in the world at the same time is pretty outlandish.

You were there?

First of all, Noah lived on a part of Eden (Pangaea) that was heavily populated with pine trees.

Second of all, I'm sure word-of-mouth back then traveled fast.

Thirdly, I'm sure God took care of all the details.

In short, Noah did his part, and God did His.

On Pangaea?

Your time scale is getting even worse.

That was at the very least 200 million years ago. Man did not exist at that time. I think that predates even the earliest of mammals. Oops, no forget that a quick check showed that primitive mammals did exist at that time.
